Not a huge discount, but for those who don't have Indiana Jones, it's part of the current Humble Bundle ($10 or $15 depending on bundle), comes with the FX3 and FX versions (PC only) as well as other arcade titles.
Interesting. But until there's more of an idea of what tables would be there it's hard to make much of an opinion.
For Williams what tables besides Elvira do you think would need higher than a T rating?
Sorry if this is old news, this was posted to Reddit 2 weeks ago. I don't usually check the Pinball FX3 reddit and didn't see this posted here.
Zen Studios has made a form available for early access founders on Epic to migrate their tables to another platform when FX goes live. Choices are...
That file was there for years before TPA shut down. There was speculation that it was meant for the "Pinball After Dark" product that never materialized. It was supposed to be a 2nd Farsight Pinball platform for releasing tables without having to worry about TPA's E10+ ESRB rating.
Big thanks for keeping this going as long as you have. Not a big online person, but this is one of the few forums I've been happy to be even a small part of.
I'd be happy to chip in to keep it going if we went that route, but you are right, traffic is barely a shadow of what it was and I don't...
When I was watching the Pinball Show last week, unless I really misunderstood, they were talking about a Williams table they hadn't done before, not just a new FX3->FX adaption.
What's in FX currently is Indiana Jones, Medieval Madness, the Getaway: High Speed II, Junkyard, Attack from Mars...
Just got home and rechecked. I started the game in Portrait mode, it reset my video options from this morning, but Portrait mode resolutions were available. Just picked up Indy at least and was able to play that in portrait as well.
It's pretty obvious the game isn't set up fully for portrait...
Didn't notice any obvious problems right away is what I meant. But the program itself is free as are two rotating tables, so you can check easily yourself. I haven't put any money down yet either.
Didn't have much time to mess with it, but seemed to run fine on my PC, looked nice. Only played the free Mummy table so far. Amused that buying all tables is exactly 13 more tickets than the largest bundle of purchasable tickets.
I could play tables in Portrait mode fine, but the main...
Yeah, I don't like the Money=>Tickets=>Table Purchases at all unless there are options to buy exactly the amount of tickets I need to cover the purchases I want, and even then it's usually just a way to obscure pricing. And while I appreciate the fact that tables are cheaper if you buy more...
March 31st, sadly except for Indy you can't purchase tables with money, you have to buy tickets and turn those into table purchases.
Purchase tickets in bundles of 100 ($9.99), 220 ($19.99), 575 ($49.99), and 1200 ($99.99)
Pricing:
Zen Original Legacy tables: 40 tickets
Licensed Legacy...
Eh, I've just been enjoying Indy on PS5. Nice to get a release somewhere I could get it for once. Don't think every Zen release is worth $15, but for me this one is. And I'll likely purchase again on PC down the road once I know for sure what's up with Pinball FX.
Great news after a long drought! Just hoping the other shoe doesn't drop.
Besides the fact that if I do want it on the new Pinball FX platform I'll have to buy it again later of course.
Would be nice if some other exclusives were confirmed to be headed there, either the 2 Oculus Star Wars...
More thinking of the TPA heyday, but honestly, I'm not even really upset. I'm sure the last year and a half has been just as unkind to Zen as everyone else, and I do not begrudge them a few months wait to play tables if the exclusivity money allows them to keep the lights on.
Just looking...
Looks like Pinball Party is out this Friday, so we can start the exclusivity clock countdown.
Anyone remember back when one of the big plusses of the Zen catalog was that releases would happen on the bulk of platforms simultaneously?
