Another option is the VR route. Unfortunately it's stalled as SPA is unlikely to see any updates and who knows how long it will take for Zen to take FX3/Williams to a VR platform. But from just what's been produced so far (SPA/Zaccaria/FX2) has convinced me that's the way I'd rather go than...
MUCH easier. I think there's only a handful of tables in FX3 that have frustrating goals. Venom for sure, Starfighter Assault took me awhile, Boba Fett (I hate that blow up the barrels mission), a couple others that are grindy but not bad once you get into a rhythm (DOOM, Archer) and the rest...
Indy would be the coup for me, hopefully Zen has a good enough relationship with Disney to at least get someone to talk to them about it. The Williams table plus a couple of Zen Originals with the license in a pack would be great.
If we get something Farsight did...probably Star Trek:TNG...
Farsight tried this with the Ghostbusters reskin table. You got a few credits play at a time that slowly refreshed, then you could buy further credits. Even that didn't go over well, but I didn't really want to play Ghostbusters much more than that anyway.
Stern Pinball Arcade VR does...
It has to be Monsters of Rock, so you have to get all the instruments. All modes stack, so try to start 3 or more modes at the same time, then activate either Frankenstein Multiball or Monster Bash Multiball.
Also remember to activate the extras you pick up, if you have a hair dryer for...
Why? The issue is that, supposedly, Disney (or other licencors) don't want their properties on a platform with an ESRB rating higher that E10+. Suggestive themes, alchohol and tobacco use, gambling and "crude humor" all require a T rating. Of the platforms you mentioned, Steam is the only one...
Depends where you were I suppose. Grew up in Pearl City, HI late 70’s, early 80’s, and the arcades I can remember with pinball almost always had them separated in a different area/room, usually the darkened one with lifted smoking restrictions. Pinball was mostly looked at as a more...
The mission of the ESRB is solely to keep US government regulation out of the video game industry. Until loot box gambling becomes a more relevant political hot potato (and it probably will eventually), they aren't going to do squat.
Ideally in hindsight, Williams/Bally pinball should have...
Neither had hard goals in Pinball Arcade, except for possibly the Lyman's Lament goal on Monster Bash (which was pretty easy once you got into a pattern for it). For Zen:
Monsters of Rock
Form the Monster Rock Band on the Monster Bash™ table. (Single player only)
Damsel in distress
Find the...
Not any kind of surprise, but hey, Monster Bash! A licenced table at last, and two that desperately needed an update from Pinball Arcade! And it's not Volume 5, but the Universal Monsters pack so that answers that (and I guess we can't close this thread).
Bit disappointed they didn't add a...
Supposedly the next announcement (for either Vol 5, a separate Halloween pack, or whatever else) will be on the 16th. Unless you can get one of the beta testers to confess in the comfy chair, you'll have to wait 2 more days.
I've wondered several times what would be involved in a rom update for one of the Farsight Stern Tables. It can't be as simple as a plug and play, can it? Could it just replace the previous code? I imagine it would need testing, but shouldn't involve retuning of any kind.
I'm just not show...
Number of digital bowling games popular enough to get a movie adaption: 1 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460811/)
Number of movies based off a digital pinball game: 0
I think FarSight knows where the money is. ;)
Has there been confirmation from the Zen guys about that? Farsight always mixed in non-DMD tables between DMD releases because DMD was where the larger demand was. It would be nice, but I don't know that I'm confident Zen will do alphanumeric or EM only packs unless they do a full remake...
Looks like it's "Dread Nautical" (Turn based tactics game) and not a pinball table. I don't like games services, I prefer to buy them, but I will say that lineup looks tempting....
So I guess the next Zen Originals pack has its 2nd table then after Operencia.
Black Knight and World Champion Soccer both use the binding for the 2nd flipper to activate Magnasave which is Ctrl by default. So Left Ctrl for the Left Magnasave, Right Ctrl for the Right Magnasave on Black Knight. I think World Champion Soccer uses only the left.
By default on Steam auto-plunge is Spacebar which I confirmed also fires the phasers. Did you move the plunger binding? If neither the spacebar or whatever you set auto-plunge to works, try resetting key bindings to default and retrying.
