When will the next Pinball Arcade table be released?

I'm not sure I'd count either that or the mobile Ghostbusters tables as they were just alterations of existing tables rather than something they built from scratch.

    Senran Kagura Peach Ball

I just heard about this the other day, I'm curious to hear opinions too if anyone has played it, but it seems simplistic, pricey, and a purchase I don't want to have to explain to the wife. ;)

Satisfied with price of digital pinballs? Willing to pay more? Less?

Ok, I missed the pricing announcement for Star Wars Pinball for the Switch entirely (been a little busy moving), but $30 for 19 tables is a steal. I was hoping for $40, but expecting $60, so this is now a must buy for me. The Switch has been my preferred portable pinball while travelling lately...

Any chances of getting the Williams tables in VR?

It seems pretty low down the priority list. They would need an FX3 VR platform as is, the current VR platform is based on FX2. Zaccaria and Stern Pinball Arcade currently have "real" tables on VR to try out if you want to give it a go, you can play their usual free table without purchase, it...

Satisfied with price of digital pinballs? Willing to pay more? Less?

I think that got away from the point I was making in the quote, which was that with newer trends in video game, smaller games cost *less* than the norm rather than bigger games costing more than the norm ($60 is the norm still, and that's what a big release will cost), so I don't see how your...

Satisfied with price of digital pinballs? Willing to pay more? Less?

Good points, but quality can be worth extra. In the 90's what digital pinball there was was fun, but generally in no way comparable to the real thing. Usually you got them in a pack for $30-40 dollars for 3-4 tables, running about $10 per table, considering that's not taking inflation into...

Freddy A Nightmare on Elm Street?

Weird thing was when Zen released the Fox Interactive pack it was notably missing the Simpsons, and there was never any reason why. I would guess that rights to Simpsons digital games are probably held by another company (Almost certainly Electronic Arts) and they would need to be negotiated...

    Williams' Collection Volume 5 guesses

There is rarely ever a reason for the consumer to participate in a Kickstarter to get a deal. It will almost always be cheaper to buy the finished product when it's out. Which is why it's so prone to scams. It's been a huge boon to small press studios and publishers to get things made that...

    Volume 4 out on iOS

No. They are not doing this as a service to get your tables for free. They are doing this to guide you to special offers and premium coinage to fleece a smaller group of people and make a larger amount of money off them than the people who would have just paid them a straight fee for the...

    Williams' Collection Volume 5 guesses

Farsight was able to get it without a Kickstarter, so I'm hopeful it will be an easy early licenced table for Zen. It's probably the #1 table I'd want to see a Zen update to. But the Universal Monsters are still an active property, possibly more so than when TPA first released Monster Bash, so...

    Volume 4 out on iOS

Sadly the game plan is the same as all the other mobile games that have the same Freemium model. By introducing a grind to unlock a free game, the plan is that they will get more money from the few people who will buy up their premium currency to skip the grind than they would from people who...

    Pro Pinball

High scores are independent of platform and are saved by the account. I think an account is a requirement to post on the leaderboard, but I don't think there's another reason if you don't want to create an account.

Hos do you ”Cheat” on a PS4? What button to press??

No, during some of the casino games on Jack*Bot, you can mash the extra ball button to cheat at the games, increasing scoring. Extra buttons like that or things like Starship Troopers extra flipper are by default mapped to the lower shoulder buttons on PS4.

    Pro Pinball

Even after 20 years, Timeshock is still my favorite digital-only table, though I'd agree physics wise Zen has finally caught up to them. Just a shame it seems like the chances of getting updates of the other Pro Pinball tables is practically nil at this point.

Just how many have played Sorcerer's Lair?

Sure. Fish Tales was harder as you can't soft plunge and the cast goes right into the spinner. Couldn't figure out a way to lower score other than trying to get TILT activated as quick as possible. Got a final score of 83,570, but I'm sure I could have gotten it lower given a few more tries or...

Just how many have played Sorcerer's Lair?

Loaded up FX3 on my wife's Steam account. Managed a score of 0, but it wouldn't post to the leaderboard. Next I managed a score of 410, but screwed it up on ball 3 by getting the skill shot and couldn't figure out how to reproduce it. In the end I got a score of 1,000 with one bumper hit as...

On PS4, should be R2 by default.

    Zen & Stern collaboration teaser?

I'd love seeing Jersey Jack, but give me a choice and I'd go with Stern if it was an either or. Maybe I just haven't had enough playtime, but Wizard of Oz and the Hobbit have just never clicked for me when I've played them. How much of a problem would the larger video screens be though for...

    Stern Speculation

It is odd that the Rift isn't mentioned (or included in the sale). I'd love to think that meant that due to oculus covering the AC/DC license, the deal was different for their devices (or that was the only portion they were willing to extend), but more likely it meant that the Oculus VR...

    AC/DC going away from TPA/SPA

Yes, in SPA, and you can actually purchase them, unlike the gold bar nonsense on Rift. There really isn't much difference though, as far as I can tell.
