Someone posted the fix awhile back. Find the Pinball Arcade executable in Task Mangager under details, set affinity, uncheck a CPU core. It works for me on this table.
TIE Fighter, Freespace 2 and Independence War are my holy trinity, haven't seen their like since the 90s. I've given Elite Dangerous three tries so far and just can't get into it.
I played Rebel Galaxy earlier this year, and it was more fun than I was expecting. The open world stuff is pretty...
Ghostbusters SPA works fine, TPA is heavily choppy until I remove one of the CPU cores, then it's fine. Everything worked great before the Pistol Poker update.

If you don't mind the fact that the original fallout games are more than 20 years old, they're still fun. You can save a buck by dropping Fallout Tactics and just getting 1 and 2 instead though. You won't miss it.
I was surprised how much I loved Valkyria Chronicles. Great strategy game and...
Pro Pinball is half off and easy to recommend to anyone here at $7.50 if you don't have it yet. I've probably played more Timeshock since it came out in '97 than any other single pinball table, real or digital.
Jeff, I can't see your list, but have you played FTL? Absolute steal at $2.50, one...
The PS3->PS4 thing is complicated because of the practically non-existent backwards compatibility between the two. PS3 games pretty much have to be re-written for the PS4, so that would be a whole different thing.
A better comparison might be the PSP to the PS Vita. Technically the Vita...
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I finally got that goal when I got to the point were I could make that left backhand shot about 1 time out of every 3 tries. Other suggestions that helped me were turning off the score/time display. I got too worked up checking it over and over, especially when I...
I'm a bit surprised there's the assumption that the Kickstarter backers don't want any one else to get the gold rom, I can't recall seeing anyone seriously upset about the idea. For the record, I'm another Gold backer from both AF and DW who would ask to please make it available for everyone...
Given current trends I'd actually assume it would be free to download with 1 token to play that recharges every 8 hours. You can then buy "pinboxes" that might contain extra tokens or might just be virtual stickers you can put on the virtual machine.
Don't really doubt many of the stories I've heard about him, but I actually met Billy Mitchell once at the Pinball Showdown in Denver 2 years back. My son was 6 at the time and loves going with me to the expo every year. However, he's on the autism spectrum, though high functioning, but loud...
I don't think it matches any of the hyenas. It's got notched ears which would be Ed, but otherwise it doesn't look like Ed. But seriously, since that's Banzai's line in the movie and there isn't an Ed, Shenzi or Random Background Hyena #12 pinball, I think we can be pretty sure it's Banzai Run.
If you have the files from MyGames\Pinball Arcade\ but not from Steam/userdata/<Steam ID>/238260 you can still make it work because I was in the same boat. These are probably what Game save manager backs up because up to about a year and a half ago that was all you needed.
As I responded to...
Pod, did you have any luck with the restore? You shouldn't need to edit p.dat or anything under /MyGames/Pinball Arcade/, but after you restore your backups to that folder, you *have* to replace and edit remotecache.vdf and pbaprg.dat under Steam/userdata/<Steam ID>/238260. If you didn't back...
Pod, was your HDD save just the files in /MyGames/PinballArcade, or the remotecache.vdf and pbaprg.dat files as well?
I didn't back up the latter and had the same problem, my scores/goals kept getting overwritten even when I turned off Cloud Saves. I ended up deleting the last two files...
Steam Leaderboards show only 7 people with a score over 200,000 at the moment. I think I'm putting this goal in the "Not happening anytime soon" bin. I wouldn't mind plugging away at it if the table was more fun, but for me this is easily a bottom 5 table for TPA.
I dunno, I went from dismissing any pre DMD tables to becoming absolutely addicted to Big Shot fairly quickly. I can't imagine I'll load up Spanish Eyes again for a long while though after I knock down that rollover goal.
It directly says in the instructions that it keeps score to 199,990 points, so 200,000 will roll it over. My question is how to get there, I feel like I have so little control over keeping the ball from draining in this game. The center bumper isn't really the problem so much as those gaping...
Sorry, fiddling with this while managing my leftover Thanksgiving guests, but try this:
Go to Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Barnstorm Games/Pro Pinball Ultra/
And find UserDefault.xml
Look for the line that starts with: <graphics_view_resolution_name_high>
Change the line to...
