You are forgiven if you can get us into the beta. But if you're taking requests for next week, how about a Marvel table to mark Stan Lee's passing? X-Men, Fear Itself, or World War Hulk are good tables that feature characters he created.
I've loathed Trump since the '80s. In that time, he's been a Democrat, an Independant, and a Republican. Has nothing to do with party affiliation. He's just a horrible human being.
There was a quote a ways back (don't recall where) that another four tables would be out by the end of the year. I wouldn't take that as an absolute promise though. It is also possible there could be a 2-table pack in November, and another in December/January.
Got around to trying Phantom of the Opera on SPA VR, and the table is pretty, but wow, they really made that ramp too easy to hit. Since Phantom came out in TPA I've never been able to get any more than a 3rd Phantom Million, and on my second VR game I was able to get an 11th. On the plus side...
You kinda learn to ignore these comments after awhile. I've been hearing about how (fill in the blank) "ruined Star Wars" since '83. And that's probably because I was only 4 when the Christmas special came out.
I haven't checked in on this in awhile, but todays update indicates the table is now feature-complete as far as missions go. Going to give it a try again when I can fit the time in.
Given how the main problem with the lackluster lineup is having to deal with a lot of different licensing agreements, I wonder if publisher or franchise specific retro console boxes might work better. I might buy for example, the Final Fantasy Box, with all games plus some of the spinoffs and a...
They do. Mostly the same pricing model as SPA, just without the $20 bundles. Premium tables $10, older tables (Phantom, LAH, HRC) $5. The token method of getting tables is a joke, but the only tables you have to get that way are the LE versions, which as far as I can tell barely qualify as...
Finally got around to this last night (on a Rift + Touch setup), I'm much more impressed than I thought I'd be. Detail when leaning close to the table is impressive, but gets a little too fuzzy towards the back of some tables. This wasn't a big problem for most tables though. The UI and...
From an thread last year on the FX3 forums:
Superscore: Based on your standing on each table leaderboard you get a value between 0 and 1000. This is not a given, the score changes as does your position on a leaderboard. The superscore is all these values combined.
Wizard score: The Superscore...
Yeah, sorry, I think we both figured that out at the same time. I switch back and forth between the two modes, but until I tested it specifically I thought I remembered seeing it in classic as well, turns out just not for Williams tables. Put in the bug report, hopefully it gets fixed. It's a...
That was what I was talking about, the number pop-ups on the table that show up every time you score. They have nothing to do with the Williams animations, they've been a feature of FX pinball since at least FX2 and are independent of the extra animations created for the Williams tables. Score...
That seems like a missed opportunity in general for Zen. It's a great idea, but I can't think of many of their tables that use the figures to show progress (Epic Quest showing the loot you currently have on the 3D model and C-3P0 blowing up/being assembled on Droids are the only ones that come...
Fish Tales guy is simple, but fun, reacting to whatever is going on with the table. Particularly love the "Rock the Boat" animation. Medieval Madness is pretty, but the flying dragon sometimes messes with my peripheral ball tracking, the Calrissian Chronicles table was really bad with this...
I haven't played much yet, but it looks like enabling attract mode leaves you at the table after a game until you press A to get back to the menu, so you can watch the attract mode sequence that plays when there's no game active. With attract mode off, it takes you back to the menu...
