I am simultaneously amazed that FarSight has been able to take TPA as far as they have with the limited resources they have, and saddened that TPA's full potential goes unimplemented because of those same resource limitations.

In terms of the mechanical components themselves, a Wizard of Oz is top-notch. In the connections and electrical department...not so much, I'm afraid. All three of the ones I've seen on location here have been plagued by flaky microswitches and substandard electrical work.

There's a lot of development work that goes into completely rehauling the UI, especially for something like TPA which has many different platforms, screen resolutions and orientations, and input methods to support. They're still working on it, but I expect it's going to be a while yet.
