Congrats on hitting 1000 posts people!
Today's pledge = $11 Ouch!
Why do they even bother publishing fractional amounts just minutes or hours into the "current" day? The previous 24 hours would be a much more accurate gauge.
Arnold Schwarzenegger dies in a freak accident and in 2029 he is reincarnated as an android. He travels back in time to 2013 and destroys all pinball machines that bear his likeness so that Farsight cannot digitize the pinball, despite they succeeded to raise the necessary licensing funds...
But you are not working for free. Free implies that no money is being exchanged. On the contrary, you are actually paying a considerable sum of money for the privileged of doing someone else's "work".
They overhauled the system after PSN got compromised several years ago. Took Sony well over a month. They could have fixed the issue then. No excuses!!!
And guys, please quit spamming the thread with "it's got $XXX left..." posts.
That's what i did. The idea of "Bronze Contributor" lured me as well. Either way, it's gonna be one big long credits list. Operator's menu is fun for curiosity, but doesn't do much for me. I only use Pro mode on Scared Stiff, for the uncensored audio, because it's the only way to properly play...
That's just like those scumbags that see a rare game on Ebay only to bid it up to $20,000 and then retract their bid. A week later, the seller relists it. That's grade-A douchebaggery if you ask me. If you don't want to fund a kickstarter, don't pledge. If you don't want to buy an item, don't bid.
Still though, cancelling pledges at the last hour or worse, cancelling your card so they can't charge to it, would be a pretty douche move in my opinion.
I have a quick question though regarding the logistics of lump sums. Suppose someone has an undisclosed sum of money in the bank that they wish to donate/contribute to a specific cause, but the amount exceeds their current credit limit so they cannot use their default credit card. Also suppose...
I'm not seeing it.
Nope.
Shucks, you beat me.
It would have been funny if the phat sum had showed up on the kicktraq site, though. Nothing to see here, moving on...
There are workarounds. For instance, wire X amount of money to a trusted "friend" who is not associated with the company, then said "friend" can make a fat contribution.
That would suck big time. I'm petty sure if it gets that critically close, then Farsight can dump some of it's own money into the campaign to push it over the top, if that's even permitted.
I was drinking a red-headed parrot at the Dawg House one night (sports bar near my old college - it's a delicious two-toned red-orange mixed drink - I forgot what goes in it but it's delicious and pretty strong too), and some dude walked up from behind me and whispered, "you shouldn't be...
I started with a $10 bid, but upped it to $20 and selected the $18 tier. It's really all I can afford atm. I prefer to support them by actually buying their products rather than a donation. BTW, I'm not really that interested in T2, but I'm afraid if the current kickstarter is not met, it will...
High Speed and Teed off would be great. Better yet, release High Speed and Victory together!!!
Maybe it's just me, but the logic in some of the choices for the Pinball packs just baffles me. For instance, Central Park and Big Shot would have made a perfect pair, as would Elvira and Scared...
