Now they are running a mobile tournament. I don't understand, you think they would have know of your thread Luobo and that the leaderboards are still wide open for hacking.
As Teddy Roosevelt would say - Bully, Bully for you RetroDude. Back in Teddy's day, Bully meant, Right On.
I own every table but two - TZ and HD. I will buy TZ when I reach the bottom threshold of the high scores where you can't play anymore, 25 games and counting. TZ has never been kind to...
Yes, I do think TAF would be as popular even if they made only 1/4 of the machines they made. The only reason they made so many was because it was so popular. Someone would play the machine at one establishment, maybe across the city, and then they would go to their home bar/pub/arcade and...
I agree with that 100%, RetroDude. Pinbot here in Portland, Oregon costs $.50 per play or 5 plays for $2.00. I have played over 60 games of Pinbot and maybe would have won 10 on merit and another 5 on matches. That would make 45 games I would have paid for and at 5 games for $2.00, I would...
Thanks jaredmorgs for this thread. Here is some questions I have.
First, how will Season Two Pass purchasers receive their new table pack download and will we get the new table pack the same day as the people who will purchase the individual table pack in the download ?
Second, how will a...
At least I don't have to listen to this one. Thanks for the heads-up on the interview. The Geekenstein interview was enough old news.
I'm sticking with Jeff's interviews. The forum pro's and members here have great questions, Jeff does a great interview and has a pleasing voice. Plus, I know...
I thought it was whirlwind when I first read the riddle ;however, spun out could refer to victory as the next table to be paired champion pub. Victory is a confirmed table.
TZ is the game I can't beat the score to purchase the game. I'm at 25 and counting. I played the RT brand new in Seattle and TZ is the only table I've played that I've never won a game on points. I will buy the table once I've reached the low hi-score. ;)
Pin Bot has been a lot of fun, it looks great and sure brought back a lot of memories from the 80's when I first played the RT. It does make my heart ache for a ROM emulated version of BK. I want the table to look as good as Pin Bot's. Since they are two of my all time favorite games.
+1...
Thanks Gord for all your hard work and the way you've made the list much more functional by making the abbreviation a tool tip for users on the computer. I can't think of a good work around between Monster Bash's initial and megabyte either. My only thought is to change Monster Bash's initial...
It makes me happy Gord that you are okay with what I did. When I saw Squid's post this morning with the link to Jeff's great list, I thought I might have stepped on some toes.
Thanks for pointing that thread out. I hardly ever look in the real pinball section of this forum. I don't play many real tables. Jeff did a great job on the list of he made. I should have done a whole forum search before making this thread.
I will give it a try. I tried to import word doc, didn't work so the dashes. Thanks for the help.
edit - I was bothered by it not looking pretty when I originally posted the thread. Thanks a lot for the help :-D
Howdy Forum Fans,
I've seen quite a few new members around this great forum, welcome to you all. I know when I first joined the forum, most members used abbreviations for the pinball tables available in TPA. It took me a while to associate a TPA table with the abbreviation used. I thought I...
I don't know if the recording is bad or it's the console. There is another video on You Tube that says HD and the quality of the recording is just as bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GC95HiHNz8 (don't know if the link will work).
I can't wait for someone on this forum to play TPA on...
I've played BOP today and finally beat my old hi score but still only got a measly 1,066,742,950. It's not the score, but the fun you have playing the table.
I also played AFM and FH. No hi scores, but really do enjoy the new versions that came with this month's table pack of WH20 and Space...
I've played all three during the first year of each machines release. I loved Comet when it first came out and played a lot of that; however, Cyclone won my heart over Comet because you still had the "Comet" to ride in the Cyclone machine, plus you got to "Ride The Ferris Wheel" in Cyclone.
I...
