It's shallow ruleset and constant multiballs make it fun to play. Could get boring pretty fast though if you stick to it for too long. I guess it's a cool table to play after trying to reach that darn high score or wizard goal on another table.
Please Silverball, don't hesitate! Two completely different gameplays with different objectives, skillshots, videomodes etc. That would be most awesomest!
Awesome idea, love it! It wouldn't even matter if the theme was really dark (like Alien), on the lighter side (Mars Attacks!/Attack from Mars) or somewhere in between (Starship Troopers).
100% true for me, too.
Apart from the erroneous behaviour during multiball that has already been reported, I had a second ball appear out of nowhere on CV yesterday. So I had two balls during regular play, but the flippers went dead and the second ball drained, right after I lost the first one.
@esp2000: You only have to pay once. I did that with DLC #4 already.
@Ryan: Taxi is really choppy on my unrooted stock Desire HD and the view on the table seems too close regardless of what view I choose. HD is choppy, too, but not as bad as Taxi and the perspective on the table is good.

But it is by no means important to enjoy the game. I may not be very good at TPA, because I don't use nudging that often. But that's totally different whenever I get the chance to give a real table a shove or two ;) Nevertheless TPA is quite a large heap of fun for me. And 700k+ on Gorgar w/o...
Up to the release of the PC version I can only play tpa on my android phone. And so I rarely use nudging as it is quite uncomfortable. I don't remember whose sig showed that all scores are sans nudging, but I'm sure I also read that it was for the same reason (on iOS though, I think).
I've played a lot of AFM on VP and though I'm still far from great my scores are quite decent. Two weeks ago I had the chance to play a real AFM and it took me a few credits to get a feel for it but I was still not half as successful as I am at home. So no, I wouldn't say VP is harder than the...
