Hey there fellow Germans :)
This thread is meant to gather useful information on where to play pinball in Germany. So if any of you know of
any websites showing where to find pinball machines
any locations with more than just one or two tables in enjoyable condition
any clubs or private...
I, too, think that Franky could have been a valuable part of discussions here. If only he'd have been able to switch off Mr.-Know-It-All-Mode.
Regarding Gail, did you warn her via PM, Gord? I guess you did more than once...
I have to fully agree with bavelb here, Franky. I think that you almost always manage to bring an interesting and noteworthy point of view into the discussion but you always manage to ruin it with the way you deliver the message. Maybe you should try to be a little less "on the job" on here and...
Um... quite a lot of fun brought to a lot of people by giving them the best pinball game there is apart from a real table?
Why not spend some less time complaining and spend more time playing TPA? Even without any DLC and even if stuff like the MM flipper gap keeps you from enjoying that table...
Do you know of any other smallish game developer who even dares to try to bring monthly content to that many platforms?
Do they really blame others? To me it sounds more like FS tries to explain what has happened so that their customers (who have been waiting for quite some time, I'll give you...
I absolutely love Timeshock! And Big Race USA is great, too.
Someone somewhere here in the forums said that he would like to help funding a real version of Timeshock if he ever won the lottery big time. Great idea! :)
Yeah... I'd like to see what would happen if FS told all those waiting for months, that the release dates for Xbox will stay behind all other platforms forever o.O
Sheesh, noone keeps you from not downloading all 3 DLC packs at once. Why so negative?
I think I am living proof that you are wrong. I have played a lot of virtual Pinball ever since David's Midnight Magic but I rarely had the opportunity to waste money on real pinball machines. Still I prefer the simulation of a real machine (even if it has never been built, like the Pro Pinball...
As I said somewhere else in this forum, I'd gladly help with the German translation. Don't want to stop porfessional translators from earning money, though ;) Is there any way to provide the English and German texts outside the app, so that proofreading would be easier? Even a *.txt would do...
My guess is, that FS are working ther a**es off, to get all those bugs fixed that impact the gameplay. Sure, there are quite a few minor graphic issues like the one you mentioned, and maybe those could be fixed without too much time spent. That time would be lost for fixing major issues, though...
Hi Alan,
same here, so I hope you don't mind me jumping on the bandwagon ;)
Hi all,
I haven't played that much real pinball and I'm far from being even moderately good, but the Pro Pinball series, especially Timeshock!, got me hooked on pinball a few years back. And ever since I found out...
The German translation really is... um... less than mediocre. I'd very much prefer to switch back to English, too.
I also like the idea of a combined effort to help FS translate TPA to as many languages as possible. I'd gladly spend time on parts of a proper German translation. I'd need some...
