They do feel a little tighter and heavier on this. But I've noticed that with all Gottlieb tables of this era, the end-of-stroke on the flippers is a lot steeper than on WMS machines. I don't know if that would change your perception of the ball movement or not, but it might.

Perhaps it could be used to implement something like improved/more detailed physics without having to redo tables? Increase the sampling rate, add ball spin or improved flipper physics or something.

From memory, their first KS was to remake all the tables? I'm pretty sure it wasn't only to do one. That, and have Lawlor design a table exclusively for the game. Which is why I'm thinking the game he designed which we never saw, will evolve into the game he's now making for JJP.

That's the right attitude I've found with learning from people. I have a few close friends who I'll listen to regarding rules and such, but for actual play style it's always best to want to learn (either by observation or just asking people) rather than being told unsolicited. PAPA tourney...
