Rats. I really hope the Oculus Quest ends up being a hit product so there is more incentive for developers to support VR. I feel like it's the best bet for VR so far, being a dedicated, effortless device with decent power. Zen's Williams tables in VR would be something.
Stern has to be looking at Zen's Williams tables right now the same way that guy is looking back at that other woman while holding his girlfriend's hand in that popular internet meme. Usually I'd say that competition is good, but Zen has done such a clearly better job so far that I'd love for...
The long wait for the tables on Switch is such a bummer, but at least Smash Bros will be here in a couple days.
I hope this doesnt become a regular thing. Bad enough that they won't give us any Star Wars or Marvel tables.
Yes, mine arrived yesterday as well and it's everything I hoped it would be. Definitely a must have for everybody who plays pinball, vertical shooters, and classic arcade games on Switch.
I'd prefer that the tables weren't censored, of course, but the important thing is that the tables are fun to play. They are.
Maybe Zen should just offer them in a separate higher rated game as an option and everybody is happy.
Yeah, separate the art from the artist. A great pinball table is a great pinball table even if one of its creators did terrible things in their personal life. Not like the general public knows anything about pinball designers anyway, so there shouldn't be any outrage... unless maybe Zen wants to...
I sure hope they do VR at some point. That seems like the ideal way to play digital pinball. Oculus Quest is looking like a pretty compelling product that I'm hoping Zen supports.
I definitely have more faith in 8bitdo than Retro-bit, but I'm going to take a wait and see approach anyway. No way I'm ordering one until I see some glowing reviews!
But man, that Saturn D-pad is perhaps the best I've ever used. Here's hoping!
It would appear that our cries for a quality 6-button pad have been heard from 8bitdo... but only 2.4G and USB so far. I require Bluetooth or a USB dongle at least...
If you want a good wireless six-button controller, you can always buy a six-button Sega Mega Drive controller (SJ-6000) that's in good shape and modify it with an 8bitdo DIY kit. Will be a bit pricey though, so maybe it's best to wait and see if the Retro-bit recreations end up being good... I'm...
Hmmm, have you tried restarting your Switch yet? I've had other games on the system suffer from random crashes and other odd issues that are fixed by a restart.
Oh, good to know about detaching the joycons. I'm going to be stoked when that Flip Grip releases... Vertical screen with comfortable controls! In the meantime, I hope they provide a fix to these issues quickly. TV mode for now, I guess.
When I play with one joycon, the effects are constantly turning on and off every time I hit the left flipper and when I play with the other joycon, I can't hold both flippers simultaneously... hitting one cancels out the other. Also, there's no option to keep the default controls in this...
