Not really, only half of the currently released tables are updates form older versions, the other half are brand new (RBION, TOM, BOP, CV, MB, CFTBL, HD, and both Elvira tables are firsttimers). Strangely enough it's the older tables that are giving the most issues (mostly Black Hole, Black...
Anything over 5 bucks would make no sense, as the whole premise for the kickstarter was to keep the price down so everyone was able to enjoy it. Plus I think anything over 5 bucks will remove it self from "impulse purchase" territory. And if they go up to 10 they effectivily gained nothing from...
RBION is the table with the most complex, deepest ruleset with an almost infinite amount of combination of modes to stack. You haven't lived untill you tried to go for a 2 x playfield into multiball into super jackpot into Frog Frenzy :). It's my favourite untill TZ is released I think and...
I was wondering where the interview was that confirmed Cactus Canyon in the newsthread?
Very awesome news indeed as I know this table by reputation only (as do most here I assume).
I kinda put TPA on hold for a while now, mostly due to playing Borderlands 2 and Xcom, but now that I'm looking into it again, I'm mentally juggling between versions:
-I might buy pack 5 and 6 for PSN from the Us store (small problem, I only have enough funds for one and dont wanna buy another...
little tidbit: they currently have 26 tables and 4 more coming in. Assuming they kept the tables they already are selling, thats leaves a few more unconfirmed ones :)
-also Jive time wasnt supposed to be in Williams phof, but Bride of Pinbot. Thats pretty funny.
If they have 300k to put into KS to keep the remaining 100k, I'd feel incredibly cheated if I was one of the backers for that 100k. Because in that case they scammed us all into thinking they needed 400k to make this happen.
Kickstarter became "Please help invest this small project because I can't do this on my own" to "Please help invest this relatively big project I want to do of my relatively succesful company because publishers don't want to take the risk or don't see enough profitmargin" (Farsight, Wasteland 2...
Pinball FX2: my arcadey fix for when I want a different flavour of pinballl. Pro pinball is good as well but plays too similar to TPA to be a different experience.
I only don't really like the Avengers table itself. World War Hulk is one of my most played tables in PFX2 and I really like all V&V tables as they are all so different. For pack one the demo's of wolverine, iron man and spiderman never grabbed me.
I had a hard time picking classes (especially cause you can only have 5 without expanding your charcter slots). I decided to skip on mesmer (deleted mine at level 3, I didnt like the clone mechanic) Ranger (went engineer for the ranged physical dmg class but I normally play rangers so I want to...
Now this isn't a complaint about the rendering of TPA, because the real table looks identical, but is the gap between the flippers on this table bigger than others?
A breath of fresh air in the MMORPG genre.
If you absolutely hate MMO's, it'll do nothing to win you over as it's still an MMO Unlike GW1. If you are fine with MMO's but dislike certain genre-standards (questgivers, vendortrash, the holy class-trinity, the exponential levelling curve) with some...
Go ask SCEE for it, as they are the ones withholding the companies from sending in DLC because they are shortstaffed. IT's also the reason I just use a US PSN account, and buy most of my downloadables on xbla. SCEE approval cycle is about 3 times as long as Sony US.
