1) credit where credit is due, Demon's Souls (and its spiritual successor Dark Souls, the greatest game of this generation) is by From Software. Atlus was just the publisher of the first game.
2) BioWare is *the* prime example of a developer pandering to the most common denominator...
The same with movies. The best immersive 3D effect sofar has still been the HUD displays on avatar when the dude talks into the "webcam".
That said I'm totally over the 3D fad. Having to wear glasses over my glasses gets old.
Strange because all of Pinball FX2 tables (including all Marvel tables) have this feature.
Which btw isn't that great to use imo. It's very hard to judge where you need to stop flipping to keep the lower one up on an analog trigger (As opposed to buttons that have 2 stages) and concentrating on...
I quite like thor, although the artwork/style is horrendous imo. Modes are quite hard though.
It certainly isn't the best of the Marvels but it has the advantage that it's clear what to do (unlike fear itself and infinity gauntlet or moon knight which are the better tables in all marvel imo)...
I agree with the rose tinted glasses:
I think the physics and simulation are very decent but altogether comparable to TPA (certainly not better). The ball feels a little too light, especially in lateral movement and bouncing of the table's items. Ball behaviour around the flippers feels a bit...
Been really enjoying Biolab. Reached the "wizard mode" last night (the one after you do all the upgrades) although sadly I couldnt finish it. Think today's the last chance to make use of the sale of the pfx2 core pack and the V&V pack so get on either (or both) if you have 400 points laying around.
No issues for me personally on hitting targets from trapped balls if I have the time. But thats my preferred playstyle anyway (stop-n-go). If I need to get Harem (I had to get the goals reset about 4 times now, due to my own choice or fault mind you) I can pretty much get it on the first game...
They will have access to them for $10 on multiple platforms. They just need to pay an additional $3-$5 for them now that they KNOW they will make it.
Well they don't want to attach a second table to the KS, because the first one showed they won't make it in 1 go, and the second KS showed people...
After going through 5 pages of games, I'm thinking the pro pinball entry is just burried under a pile of utter crap.
I'm all for healthy indiegames initiative (I own Fez, Spelunky, Dust and enjoy them all), but initiatives like that just get flooded by a stream of unoriginal clones. Take a...
Oi...well thanks for the mention. Mine are generally the result of a weekend of hard grinding, when I have a week of work (being a teacher I have more than average) so I have the time to dedicate myself to it :) . I generally don't bust out a highscore out of nothing unless it's tables I played...
Yup, I really like all 4 of them (although Moon Knight has me scratching my head on wtf is going on). Really digging the weirdness of Ghostrider, it's really like no other Zen table. Xmen looks much more straightforwad than most other later Marvel tables in its modes and is a table I could...
I don't get the furry hate at all. Then I again I grew up with Disney's Robin Hood, Pooh, Thundercats, Ninja Turtles and other anthropmorphisized animals, so I don't even think of the characters as animals untill someone points it out.
Hmm shadow complex is a complete Metroid loveletter. This...
