Well once I get my damn xbox back from the teen playing Blue Dragon behind me Ill do a quick demo of the 4 and see how I like em. I remember being interested in biolab and secrets of the deep, but not willing to spend 10 bucks.
Myea, long ball times and lots of extra balls on my second play tonight. Personally I like long sessions on tables with deeper rulesets as long as there is a lot of stuff to do. Still need to figure out the different modes and whatever the hell those carawards do, so I will get my money's worth...
The Marvel ones in general or these ones? I havent had much experience yet with this V&V pack, been laying PvZ tonight for ****s and giggles. From what I gather they are pretty deep ruleset wise, and remind me a lot of Avengers Chronicles if you have played those. Moon knight and Thor seem to be...
I wish them the best of luck and will surely pick up a copy once it hits platforms. I just don't have the connection to Pro pinball that others have and I just spend my monthly allowance on games last weekend, so I'm gonna pass this one by. Fingers still crossed for them however, I'll be sure to...
The Core PFX2 pack (Pasha Rome Biolab and Secrets of the Deep) and Marvel Vengeance and Virtue are on sale this week for 400 points each.
Personally not that interested in the core pack, but I was looking at the Marvel Pack myself already so picked it up on the cheap.
I think the difference will be mainly in the genuine Zen Pinball 1 tables. The Marvel tables, especially the latter ones, were most likely already created with the improved PFX2-like physics. I think I'll go on and buy a table or 2 today in Zen 2, for those cases where my 360 is taken by the...
I'd be inclined to try and get these games running, but meh...I have such a big backlog of games I want to play (got 12 "new" high profile 360 games on a used games sale last weekend for 60 bucks, and that's besides the games I alreyad had laying there waiting to be played like Walking Dead and...
Thanks, I was waiting for the "improved physics" review. It's exactly as I was expecting then, as I assumed that the physics would be exactly like PFX2 and the Marvel tables.
Personally I'm thankful for that as I own all my Zen tables on 360 and wouldnt need much convincing to buy them again...
I seriously doubt they will directly tack on another table directly as a stretch goal.
"No- we've learned the hard way that trying to mix two tables into the same project is probably not a good idea."
Maybe they will announce an acquired license as a thank you at 45k, or will give added...
This, Epic Quest and the later Marveltables (anything apart fromt he first pack where I think the tables are lacking variety) is the way to do casual video-pinball imo.
While I think Sorcerers lair, and other tables (havent bought many apart from Earth Defense and Excalibur) can be fun, the...
So many tales of would-be-awesomeness. Especially on Totan.
The worst was a 100+ million ball one, before a princess save (but a high spun lightning x 3 lamp that I was able to transfer into a multiball), followed by 3 sub 10 million drains. I tried to play another game after that but my morale...
I think they will have something to show, but what they need to do is at around 40k give an update with a possible hint at what that ace might reveal once we DO reach 45k.
TOTAN and RBION are my favourites, and I find they have the most longevity out of all the tables due to 2 factors (the same goes for TOM and MM as well come to think of it):
1)a lot of stuff to do, unlike BH and Gorgar, with a lot of setting up (lightning lamp x 3 in Multiball, 2 x playfield...
We had one of the last ones come out on a saterday early morning (for Europe).
Either way I think it will be worth the wait. They took their time for polishing the new DLC and squishing bugs so we'd get a better endproduct.
This, I'm fine with Zen.
The physics are less realistic (some advanced moves are too easy as the ball is a bit too heavy, and pathing seems more predictable) but this is a design decision and fine for an arcade table.
I can do without animated figures flying over my tables, and some rulesets...
If they can make The Shadow for less licensing money due to swapping the backglass for the alternative one without Baldwin, I'd call that a win-win situation.
On MB? You can trap the scoop on the left flipper. I do this by having a raised flipper, drop it when it spits out the ball and raising it. Sort of between a dead and live catch :)
