Oh i misread that, thought you had the i7.
What i found out today: Each time I played on my TV, I had slow motion during multiball in MM. And overall every table felt slower also. Both was not happening when playing on my PC monitor. Then I checked my TV refresh rate - It was set to 50Hz (in...

Hi MontanaFrank,
welcome to the world of PC gaming
Like Jeff I'd also recommend to buy a PC with a Nvidia Graphics card instead the one you posted (which has an AMD card). At this point, TPA seems to work better with Nvidia (but no idea if future patches will change this).
Do you...
Just an idea: Maybe the internal graphics card from your Core i7 is rendering TPA instead of your GTX 560?
I also have a GTX 560 (+ Core i5 3570) and I always have 60 fps.
Gamasutra does monthly analysis of leaderboards on Xbox Live Arcade, they include Pinball FX numbers:
http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RyanLangley/20130910/199917/Xbox_Live_Arcade_Sales_Analysis_in_Short_August_2013.php
You could dig out the analysis from the month when TPA was launched and...
@ Epsilon: I can confirm that. On my gaming PC I purchased Season 1 and the T2 Table. Then I downloaded TPA on my Laptop and there I have access to all tables which I bought on the other computer. Works perfectly fine.
I would like to turn off vibration also. There should be either an option to turn it off or a description how to edit the game setting file.
I don't want to open my controller to unplug the vibration motors...
I think the poor performance is much more related to the screen resolution than to anything else. I have 2 PC's, and my slower PC is running the game better (on the same settings, just with lower screen resolution):
1. Desktop PC
Core i5 3570 @ 3.4 GHz
Geforce GTX 560
8 GB RAM
Win 7 64 Bit
I...
Really nice solution.
Note for Nvidia users: Instead of changing this globally, you can set this only for TPA by selecting the tab "Program Settings" in the screenshot above. When you add TPA to the "Program Settings" and do the "Pre-rendered frames 1" change there, this does not interfere...
Finally, downloading it now! Very happy I am.
But it's ONLY visible in the "Free to Play" section. How bad is that?? Valve has to change this so it is treated as regular game...
Edit: It just appeared in the regular section also. Still this game is not a "Free to Play" game as the other games...
What Jeff said.
Also I believe TPA was forced by Valve to be released as "Free to Play", unlike Pinball FX2.
When you check the "Free to Play" section in Steam, there is also a text box on the right side that exlains the wallet payment thing.
I think it is very unfair from Valve to force...
Impressive 3D effect, really cool.
This effect alone would justify the purchase of a PS4 & TPA for me. No Joke!
And by the power of Grayskull, I need to play that table!
I also use Xpadder to play Pro Pinball on my PC (Big Race USA) with the Xbox 360 controller. This way i can have the exact same controls for TPA and the good old Pro Pinball. Xpadder works perfectly fine with absolutely no input lag. Plus it is VERY easy to configure.
After covering drugs & religion, we are now heading towards politics. To really break all rules of a polite conversation we should not forget to speak about sexual liberation... ;)
