For rare pins I would rather see King Kong then pinball circus. I have played both and I'm not impressed with pinball circus at least king kong was worth playing more then once. A better "climbing" pin is banzai run.

I don't know pinballs are generally cheaper to maintain.
But pinballs don't have the nice curvy bits and don't like to cuddle.
Pinballs have an off switch.
But pinballs can't cook.
You can have more then one pinball and play with a different one every night.
