hahaha, very true! The number of real-world problems caused by Facebook has to be rather large.

I used to be like that. Whenever I saw someone was "wrong" on the internet, I felt like it was my civic duty to tell them that they were, and let the whole world know that. Then I realized, a) it wasn't my job, b) nobody gave a flying $&@!. Now I just go on about my business.

Well said. In my experince, once someone has formed an opinion and strongly identifies with it, he or she is almost never in the mindset to have this opinion changed by a discussion, but rather tries to defend it by any means possible. And there is a virtually endless stream of "wrong" opinions on the internet, so yeah...
