Wait, you can level up the rewind wizard power? I thought only the passive powers could get upgraded. Huh.

I'll sheepishly admit that I went out to 1 ball challenge and levelled up my rewind wizard power to 8 to give me an advantage. It was both easy and tedious.

Speaking of, takes a long time to level those things up on this table. When tournament started, all mine were at base level, as is often the case for me. Usually by the end of the week, most are maxed out. This table, they’re all still around 5 or 6. I used bumper and distance up until the final say as those were yielding best for me. I switched out distance for multi ball knowing I could run the table and start final encounter and that wound up being the very thing that put my score over the top. I only had that up to a level 4.

The final encounter is what got my score up too. I used bumper and multiball.

I admit I screwed up a bit in that I only wanted to do 5 minutes with this atrocity and instead selected normal 3 ball. Whoops. No wizard, pick your own passive. Enjoy?

Oh god why?!

Survival has grown on me a lot but it's really table dependent. It's brutal on tables like Mars that have long modes that don't score anything until you've completed them. But otherwise I do like the experimenting with different strategies and figuring out how to stay in the game. I find you really learn the table this way.

Gonna go back to some single ball play on Marvel's Woman of Power: Champions with all the usual power ups available. This is one of those tables that will kill you with low scoring until it doesn't, at which point there is excessive scoring! So perfect for 1 ball play. Next week I think we'll try out the multiple ways to play version of this tourney. I'm debating between Castle Storm, Wild West, Moon Knight, or I'm open to suggestion. Comment to lemme know what you all would prefer.

Okay, everybody ready to try something new? No, not the new Jurassic Park tables! I mean have at it, but there'll be plenty of other tournaments this week with those tables if you really wanna have a go. No, what I'm talking about is a long form tournament that'll be a deep dive. Curious? Here's the deal...

Moon Knight is gonna be the table of choice. Be prepared for lots of WTF with this one. Starting off with a 3 day, 3 ball, no upgrades bit of play to get everyone warmed up. Then we'll play a series of 1 day tourneys using survival, 5 minute, and 1 ball. We'll finish off with a week long 3 ball, any upgrades you'd like, tourney.

Each tourney will earn a point total for finishing in the top 10. 1000 points for first, 100 points for 10th, fill in the gaps between. If you manage to win a tourney twice in a row, a bonus of 500 points will be awarded. To keep it interesting, if anyone can stay within the top 10 for all 5 variations, they'll earn an extra 1000 points. Winners will be posted for each tourney, but the main goal is to be crowned conqueror of all at the end.
