Looks pretty good from what was shown in the Twitch stream. They're doing the similar lighting effect that was done on High Speed.

Might as well add my notes from the Twitch stream here:

- "Speaking of Kickstarters...You guys know what might happen this Friday....Addams Family KickStarter!!!!!"
- Going to run a special tournament while Addams Family Kickstarter is going.
- For more Kickstarter specific needs to wait till Friday.
- Would like to offer season passes on every platform at start of Season. Execpt iOS.
- S3 Season Pass for all platforms will be available as soon, or soon after the last table of S3 is released.
- Really want to do BBB - but obviously need Pinball After Dark.
- Freddy might need a Kickstarter
- PS4 will get 3D support eventually
- iOS and Android biggest platforms (5mil downloads on Android)
- No date for Wii-U
- XB360 - Still in certification. [The tables] are running solid though.
- DX11 after tables available on XB1 and PS4
- Bad PS4 sound still occurring after patch due to something with setting 5.1 sound but only using stereo? Didn't quite get it all when they mentioned it so may have that wrong.

Probably the most noteworthy table in season 3. IMO Season 3 felt lackluster. There weren't that man tables that stood out to me. I have yet to actually physically purchases any table from S3.


If anything, Black Rose, Diner, High Speed are the only tables I've enjoyed the demo. The others not so much. BS Dracula looks really good and I will most like add that to my collection. I may pick the others up if they ever put them on sale through STEAM. Black Rose, Diner, and High Speed were tempting yet.

just because i had to make a hard decision over it (over "arabian nights"), as far as what i really like to play in TPA recently, down to a "top five" arrangement. sometime i'll have to mess around some with the big ratings thread and try that, but (like i do a bit with my itunes) i've got more of a three/four-star arrangement - the top five i'd love to personally own the real tables in my home... the next best fifteen/twenty would be for stocking that fantasy barcade restaurant someday! then the rest - are fun to play, but not jonesin' to find in real life. just based upon a general mix of fun play, gadgetry/rampage, and theme/artwork/appearance... it's tough to choose!

BUT NOTE THAT i have rarely if ever have played any of these tables IRL - in fact i've played NONE of my current top five! Funhouse is the last one i played RL when it was first introduced, and twenty-plus or whatever years later re-discovered in TPA; that's what sold me on FS off the bat! probably the one pinball machine that showed me there was "pinball after space invaders/pac man" and all that other videogame BS... ...

I can't disagree with Monster Bash, I love that table. The only negative about it is there is no plunger. And Scared Stiff is also fantastic but I just don't get the other 3. TOM is the best of the 3 but I still don't think it's top 10. You only seem to like the newer very flash and cluttered. They are all very ramp & toy heavy tables. That is where we differ and you can list whatever you want as your favorites but if you are going to rank the BEST I think you need to work in some of the other styles. If you could only have 5 tables ever why pick 5 that play the same way? None of those tables are good for drop targets and jets don't play into any of them all of them have jets way up at the top where they have little effect on gameplay. If I could only have 5 I would need to put a good drop target game like Gorgar, Centar, Haunted House. Then there are really fast tables like high speed, taxi, diner. It's like making a top 5 movie list and only picking action movies from the last 10 years. IMHO

But again about Monster Bash, that game has so much going on but is laid out in a way that it is really easy to understand what you are trying to do. For such a busy table it is really clear. I love the theme, artwork and voice acting, with the exception of the Bride of Frankenstein sounding like a teenaged bimbo. I wish they had a go pro version of it so I could look at it closer.

ditto. season 3 has been quite lacklustre for me with 5 tables simply not tempting me at all.... but BSD is where i rejoin the fray. A stunning table with a compellingly ghoulish atmosphere. i reckon this is THE table of season 3

So glad I looked at this thread since I didnt have any idea it would be today! And now I will be checking in every minute! It would be nice to have an estimate on what time. Yeah, it's usually afternoon, but that's not good enough. I'm in the central zone. I'd rather not be checking my App Store every minute. Hey, at least I'm looking forward to something.

Lost my job of 6 years, because of heavy drinking. TPA is my way of escaping the fact that I'm out of control. Didn't mean to bring it into a dark place guys. Head the warnings of others. And don't let it take over your life. Now let's get some BSD! Being addicted means that you lose your sense of time, people, and lose your ability to think for yourself. I only includes that part because I know you guys are cool, and we all have one thing in common, pinball
