Noticed some slowdown in Cactus Canyon, mostly when the ball is in the upper left corner. Even with the camera fixed so it won't zoom in on the action the slow down occurs, maybe a tad less apparent but there. Not a game breaker by any means, just noticeable.

Cactus Canyon flies in the bumpers on Nexus 7, I love that area of the game trying to increase the bonus multipliers.

What I forgot to mention: on Cactus Canyon the sound is muted at the end of a play when the highscore can be entered. No music, no sound effects. Bug or feature?!

Hi Guys, but the pack is yet out on psn europe ? thx

Table Add-On Pack #12 featuring Cactus Canyon and Central Park will be available for PS3 (EU) and PS Vita (EU) later today.

It's now up in the EU store :)

One thing I noticed on CP is that 9 times out of 10 the ball doesn't roll over the switches for the 30 points in the left and right lanes is seems to roll past them.

Another couple of niggles on CP:
1. On the backglass it shows " ,000" instead of "0,000" and on the final score screen (or even better show the proper score)
2. On the final score screen the word "Central" is sticking out the top of the screen.

On the subject of backglass scores Cactus Canyon's is totally blank (like the early table releases still are)

It's a feature, CC software was never really complete when the machine entered production, as such it was missing game over music and match animation.

Haha
CENTRAL PARK
High Score #1 (Mobile) Luobo 10,440,319,430

Looks legit to me! WTF?!?
Score #2 9,751

As far as the nudging/tilting goes, I am convinced there is something wrong. I have played some of these 70's machines when they were new and they never tilted on a single light nudge.

Nudging is key to playing these old machines and if they tilted like this no one would ever play hem.

Edit ..

Who is this Luobo guy??
Another one of his high scores:
GENIE #1 10,851,358,720
#2 48,145,770

(Oops, that was a reply...not an edit.)

This should answer your question.
http://tinyurl.com/c6qdaj9

Ahh. Yes it did.
Thanks for the link. :)

I personally don't think they should even bother posting Mobile high scores on the console version.

Some of the tables play so much differently that there is no way it would be fair to compare the two.

I think the PS Vita gets filed under the generic listing IIRC and I know certain tables are quite different from the PS3 version.

Back to the topic.

I still think the reflective glass should be implemented on the PS3 version of TPA.
It really sells the old EM table realism IMO.

The TPA version of Central Park really doesn't look much different from the Gotlieb collecting version.

Has Farsight ever commented on the lack of glass on the console versions?
I can understand why it's lacking on the ioS/Android versions, but I think the PS3 can handle it.

Also, I think it was already mentioned, but after playing a game of Cactus Canyon the music and sound effect go away.
Maybe they were trying to gt rid of the annoying bell sound for every button pressed during the initial entering screen and turned off the wrong thing??

It's too bad because some of these later pins had really catchy ending themes.

CC is an unfinished machine. It's silent during the match sequence because it wasn't completed in time when released.

Just to be clear the original ROM was incomplete when the original physical pinball machine was made...FS is using the original ROM and making a faithful reproduction.

I'd rather have no music or sounds (apart from the flipper noise) if there wasn't any on the real table (on the initial entry screen) rather than the added dings and added 'music' (like on Big Shot & Central Park)

Ack, of course. That's what I meant. I forgot how meta this "game version of a game" stuff can get.
