Casino crashing ios 8.0.2

Try playing while *logged out* of your Farsight account and "play as guest" . Also log out of Game Center as well.

Something that worked fine for quite awhile but then starts crashing with no changes being made to either iOS or TPA can point to the server side of the game. That is, IF you are logged in, either to Farsight's server or Game Center (or both).

I NEVER play logged in to either & "play as guest" since all my achievements (goals and scores) were accomplished while playing logged out. If I log in, I have to start from scratch as the achievements (logged in, logged out) are separate.

I've tried again and again and it still keeps crashing. Sometimes before the end of first ball. This just started in the last 36-48 hrs

I just tried on my iPhone 5 runing iOS 8.1 (beta 2) using the most recent TPA version (as I said, logged out) and had zero issues. I believe I played 5 or so games.

But then again, I'm running iOS 8.1 beta 2 so that likely doesn't coincide with what you're running...

EDIT: Since I'm still on iOS 7.1.2 on my other devices, testing on those may not reveal anything either but I'll do it anyways and report back...

EDIT 2: Once again, no issues after playing 5 or so games.

TPA said they got some other complaints but they can't reAlly figure it out. Weird! Too bad because it's a table I've been playing a lot lately because I was never able to get 1st place even on the local board

I've heard mention of Ccv "hard power cycling the iPad" which I take to mean turn the iPad off, then on again. I've not heard any mention of any of you guys with the crashing issue *resetting* your device. Resetting and power-cycling are different beasts. Try the reset please (if you have not already done so) as it's simple to do and is non-destructive in any way:

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Ahhh good. A confirmation from someone using other than iOS 8.x. This points to it likely not being iOS related then.

HRC is crashing again for me after working seemingly fine when deleted the table and re-downloaded it. It now crashes fairly quick into the game, not lasting a full minute. This is on a iPad 2 with iOS 6.x installed. I'll try hard resetting to see if this helps, and reinstallng the table. I won't reinstall TPA though because I'm afraid I'll loss scores and/or HOF points.

I was thinking that it could maybe be a multitable problem. HRC crashed for me again after I played a lot of other games without closing the app and/or resetting the iPad. I remember that we had an earlier problem where playing 2 tables after each other created a problem with one of the tables, but I forgot which 2.

Edit: and it is still crashing!

Bump. I think this needs attention from TPA because in this state the table is not playable. It would be nice to get some more confirmation from other players!

Tried this and HRC is still crashing. It's completely unplayable

Have you tried shutting down the apps running in the background on your device? Double tap the Home button, then swipe up on the app screen shots (not the icons at the bottom) that you want to shut down. Shut them ALL down, reset the device (as above), then try again.

The iPad 2 & iPad mini have only 512 MB of ram (used to run the system processes & apps) as opposed to the 1 GB of ram for the iPad 3, 4, mini Retina & Air. The lack of memory can cause odd crashes. iOS is said to be intelligent enough to manage memory efficiently but that's not always the case. I personally *always* shut down any apps that I don't need running in the background just to free up the ram.

I was one of the original posters on this thread. I can still play it on iPad air. I also haven't tried any of the fixes on this thread.

I shut each app when not in use so that's not it. It's the on,y table that's crashing on me, so far

I'm still afraid to upgrade to 8.2 I can't imagine how a table with no update suddenly doesn't work on a bunch of people's devices? Anyone?
