Some results are very impressive ...
I've finished number 5 on the bronze tournament. But again still lots of problems (blank name, 4 times the same name in the leaderboard, ...).

But i did 11,184,590 on Firepower.

Wow

Had fun in my first Gold Tourney. Funny: Had to buy Firepower, thought that could help, cause I played it pretty well in PHOF, but ****, it is no fun on pinball arcade, was no help improving my rank. It is a far way to the top ranks. Maybe too far. I can only say "Wow" to the leaders. I played some tables full time, f. e. AFM, thought I was scoring well but: the best score about 200 % more. Wow.
I'd like to see them playing.

I hope to make it into the Gold Tourney next month. Was number 32 in the Silver and just missed it by a few. After playing the Bronze and getting 11th last month, it was quite the step up playing in the Silver. I can only imagine the level of play going on in the Gold.

I don't understand why i was still on the bronze tournament because i was on the silver one last time (but demoted to bronze i think because i was playing on vita and PS3 ... even if they said at the end i was still qualified for silver). I've finished 22th last month and could only play 2 or 3 hours before this problem.

;\ that sucks to get demoted gatchan, especially if it's not too obvious 'why'... seems like that's happened to me a bit as i've gotten into tourneys a bit, but i never got very far anyways before... :\ i've never quite grokked the whole scoring procedure (i presume it's some sort of try at 'evening out' the differences in scoring between tables)... zen's thing for that too confuses me.

at least i think till this last round... it looks like i got up to silver for the first time! but i dunno how much 'happy' to put into it, considering how seemingly random it can be sometimes... still lately i'm starting to get just slightly more 'epic' games going than i used to before. most of the time, i have the usual game going on; maybe nice but nothing special... then sometimes, maybe one out of five, gets a lot farther than i used to be able to! this tourney it looked like t2 and black rose were my surprises... i'd always liked br, but never got very far with it; this time suddenly i got a -lot- farther than usual. and i'd gotten up to the point semi-recently on t2 to manage better scores - i just suddenly had the best run at it i'd had ever on this round!

so now i can't -wait- for the next tourney, just to try again... hmmm i wonder if it wouldn't be a bad idea to have weekend tourneys, -every- weekend????? if that wasn't a managerial headache to do? :0 fri-sun... would get everyone who's into it, -really- into it!!! keep 'em coming back and trying again!

concerning firepower, during the tournament, I had a bug 2 or 3 times. The end of ball bonus didn't stop. So to make a big score, I just had to wait the end of the 20 minutes. But, well, I saw
no interest to earn some points like that, so I quit before the end of time. Some of you had the bug too ?

I had the same problem once on firepower. It was when i scored more than 2M with my first ball, the bonus at the end of the second ball didn't stop.
My high score was already 4M and i was second so i used this bug to do 11M (and at the end i am still second).

Yep, well written, WHITE CHOCOLATE. Suddenly a table runs I had no idea for, no fun. I leave those tables normally after a few games, try them sometime later, just to leave them again, because TV is threatened of being smashed by controller. Till Tourney comes. Then I HAVE TO PLAY those tables. And suddenly ... they run, or I start to like them. For me it was Fish Tales and Champion Pub and Black Rose and Cactus Canyon. FT and CP I still don't like but in Tourney I found a way to squeeze a good score out of them. For Black Rose which annoyed me often I found a way to score and find fun in the table. Cactus Canyon I liked before, but never get a flow, never played longer then ten minutes. Till Tourney came.. So. Tournaments are great cause sometimes trying to get a score let one find fun in a table disliked before.
