This article about Dr. Who pinball has a vid with newer cast from the show checking out the machine. Might speak to big fans of the show. This site seems a good candidate for a write up too.

http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Who_(pinball_machine)

Pinside appears to have no mention of the kickstarter yet. A few videos on the page

https://pinside.com/pinball/archive/doctor-who

I am not a pinside member, maybe someone who is wants to put in a good word?

An article about the kickstarter:

http://nerdapproved.com/gaming/doctor-who-pinball-arcade/

Also, a quick search of Dr Who Pinball (duckduckgo) brought up almost no results pertaining to the kickstarter. Im sure there is somthing Farsight can do to make it higher on the search results list.

Someone might want to clear up confusion on the kickstarter comments about the tournament. Due to how the award teir is worded, some dont realize they must own the previous kickstarter tables to participate

Looking at the kicktraq site posted by slam23, it seems this kickstarter is on a similar trajectory to T2, meaning it will barely make it IF it keeps on corse. A big influx of Dr. Who fans might make it happen easier.

As far as a big influx of Dr Who Fans, I'm going to Gallifrey One, the biggest Doctor Who convention on the last two days of the kickstarter. It's only a 2 hour drive from where TPA offices are in Big Bear. Two of the Doctors featured on this table will be there. I am sure they could reach their goal if they got the word out there.

Is one of them Sylvester McCoy? Because he's the one whose voice is actually in this game.

Presumably music licensing is a problem - they'd only have access to the Ron Grainer track in the context of the game audio. Not worth chancing given the wonderful world of music licensing if the video does go viral.

Just a thought, if the money did fall just short they get nothing, right? Wondering if they'd go again on IndieGogo, with a view to 'Festerising' parts of the table if need be.

This Kickstarter is dying a slow death. Code blue!

Will the way Farsight handles a KS finally catch up with them? I will up my pledge if some sign of life is there in a couple of days. Let's hope there will be some good updates and more enticing rewards.
Otherwise charge the paddles...

Yes, yes, and yes.

It's also Farsight's hands-off, lack of originality, Kickstarter-by-the-Numbers, "If you build it they will come", attitude.

The Farsight managers could always pay their own costs you know. Nothing stopping them chipping in 50K, don't tell me nobody at Farsight made a load of money from TPA
