I have an AMD Radeon HD 7640G. Not on the list, guess that explains the slowdown issues for me. The game does look great tho cant wait until I can upgrade to a suitable card!

I'm in the same boat. TPA looks awesome in DX11, but is too slow to play on my computer, doubtless will stay that way until I can afford a new GPU. But that can wait, since DX9 works smoothly on my computer. I'll take 60 fps any day.

Bride of PinBot

* The switch behind the head assembly is frequently registering more than once when you lock balls. Fortunately, the game code seems built to be able to tolerate this but still, it's abnormal behaviour.

i want to add that the 1st ball ALWAYS goes into the left eye (dx9 and dx11)
this is also not normal
i saw some bop videos of real machines and its random in which eye the 1st ball will go
(not sure if its 50:50, but 1st ball into right eye is possible too)

Big Bug:
Changing the sound options (volumes) hangs the game when you try to start up table. Sound options cannot be saved. Game also can crash if you change volumes during gameplay.

Honestly, with all of the graphical bugs, which with the exception of a few are minor and I could live with. With the love of God, could someone please fix the AFM texture swapping on the left and right mid plastics....that would be my biggest gripe of any table ever released...DX9 or DX11.

I agree on this too, I never understood how this happened in the first place, shouldn't it just be lights underneath it?

Have an Optiplex 960 Core 2 Duo processor 6Gb ram. Video card is an ATI Radeon 3400 HD. When I try running Beta screen goes dark and comes back up saying Display adapter has stopped and started. Game will not run. Original PB arcade runs fine

That GPU is almost certainly not DX11-compatible.

Radeon HD 3XXX series are most certianly NOT DirectX 11 cards, they are a family of DX10 cards. That card is from 2007, it MIGHT be time for an upgrade.

Gemini did a nice job with the feedback. I don't know when they plan to release non beta dx11, but the task of "tuning" all the tables seems a nightmare... Somehow the dx9 version seems very polished to me right now!

It will probably be a long time before DX11 is tuned, assuming it gets tuned. Given FarSight's track record, who's to say? But that's OK-I'm not touching DX11 again until I can get a new graphics card. DX9 runs just fine overall so I'll stick with it.

Yes, but you won't be hangin' with the cool kids. We will just point and ridicule.

V1.37.7 Bugs:

  • Muffled music/sounds on Bride of Pin*Bot, Central Park, Cirqus Voltaire, FunHouse, Genie, No Good Gofers, Ripley's, Scared Stiff, Theatre of Magic, TotAN.
  • Missing floodlights on Lights Camera Action.
  • Cue Ball Wizard: SHOOT RAMP bulbs are in the wrong places. Even the flyers get it right.
  • Side GI (texture swap) in AFM has been carried over from DX9.
  • Fullscreen is not functional at this time. Known issue.
  • High Roller Casino: Slot DMD is x2 its size.
  • Ripley's Mini DMDs are blurry and unreadable.
  • The upper-left portion of Centaur's playfield (not the plastics) is missing, making it look like the objects are hovering over thin air. (You can see the leg holding up the table. Look closely below.)
  • Missing 1K spinner sound on High Speed. Sound is present in DX9, though.
  • GI on Creature - overall lighting needs brightened.
  • Haunted House's bumpers needs GI.
  • The fester and cousin IT custom balls are switched/broken, as well as the light bulb.
  • Centaur's backglass isn't lit.
  • Tee'd Off: 2nd Golf Ball isn't lighting up.
  • Centaur: 60 Bonus bulb is dim when lit.
  • Earthshaker: GI activity may need tuning (light brightness is fine; just on features like Match Up)
  • Fish Tales: Captive ball lights are too dim.
  • Champion Pub: Start Fight light sequence missing on both health bars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzFvBmwIx5g
  • Addams Family: Swapping Custom Balls crashes the game.
  • White Water: Occasional ball hops at Bigfoot Bluff's diverter. http://youtu.be/9uFpTJeTld4
  • Whirlwind's GI seems to be blinking when it needs those bulbs to turn off.
  • Great job on the lightning effects on Whirlwind, but the light effects around the flashers remain on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wajnSB882p4
  • Twilight Zone: Buildup sound for Multiball is overlapped by another sound.
  • Also on Twilight Zone is the wronged Multiball startup light sequence alongside claiming a Jackpot, both being off sync when compared to the actual machine (DX9 has this problem as well). I think it's a problem with emulation in general.
  • Party Zone: There should be two separate types of solid GI color: Red and White. There are flashers in there as well that separate from the GI overall (which are already in there). Refer to the video below.
  • Shutyertrap's and other users' mentions listed.

I haven't tried that before, but now, when someone watches me over steam, the game speeds up extremely.

I play on 1080x1920 portrait on max settings. GTX 780ti OC.

So I noticed I could input 10:16 resolutions (1200x1920) from the config. The problem with it is that it uses what I'm assuming are 9:16 camera values currently so in portrait mode the camera angle is so low it hides the flippers on most tables partially or entirely. If we could get the camera values from the DX9 version ported over that would be great!
