EM picks...Jive Time!

Not really much to Jive Time but it's just so fun! If they ever do more EMs I'd love to see it. Apparently it WAS a table in one of the older Williams Hall of Fame releases...wonder why it hasn't made a comeback on TPA?

Other EMs I'd love to see:

Captain Fantastic (1975) or Wizard!
Night Rider
Fast Draw

EMs have mostly been ignored, probably because it'd be hard to sell them by themselves. That said, if they went back to pairing tables up, they'd make a great table pack with another, more modern table.

Not to sound like negative nancy but there is almost zero chance we get any EMs anytime soon. Shame, because I loved Jive Time as well as you. So rewarding having a good game on it.

I would love some more EMs but unfortunately, they need to pander to the lowest common denominator. I doubt they are a big moneymaker for them.

Similar in style would be Doodle Bug. That's a pretty challenging table with a gap at the pivot of the flippers.

I HATE it. It's a horrible EM and I would never pay for it. Offer it as a free bonus and only then, maybe.

Buckaroo and North Star would be pretty sweet

And IF by some miracle we get an EM in the near future I beg of you farsight to not ruin it with the EB syndrome a la central park

Jive Time is pretty much everything bad about EM tables.

No inlanes at all.
Huge flipper gap.
Ball savers that are turned off when the ball randomly hits the wrong thing.
random spinner that is all important and hard to get the ball to settle into the kickout for.
Shots that you can't really shoot on purpose.

I would love to see an em but it needs to be a good one. Big shot is a really good one but there are much better out there. Half of the reason for tpa failing to successfully translate em's is because they haven't picked the good ones. If the game had skipped medieval madness, attack from mars, theater of magic and other top 20 tables and instead put out popeye, more premier tables and some of the mediocre mid 80's Bally/Williams tables, you would possibly not have a game anymore.

Yes, there are a ton of EMs that are much, much better than Jive Time. The art is really the best thing about this pin, but for gameplay there are many superior EMs to choose from.

Fireball, Slick Chick, or Four Million BC would be better EM additions, in my opinion. I still hope that Fireball makes the cut eventually, and I think it would sell fine on its own.

Good, thanks for asking. I've been a silent observer for a while. To be honest, I've just had less to say since TPA went to 1 table per month, but I'm still beta testing every one of them on iPad. I was just updating my wishlist, as a matter of fact... But as we're not likely to reach 100 tables any more, even that has been downsized.

Maybe you can help me on one thing... After High Roller Casino, what else has been confirmed for eventual release? Just Diner and BSD?

JK,good to see you back. I've missed your posts. As to your query - Diner is confirmed for this season. BSD is heavily rumored as coming - either as the other/last table for Season 3 - or the Halloween/Horror/October pin to kick off Season 4.
But it hasn't been confirmed as official just yet.
