Hello all, I hope this is the right place to ask few questions about this video game.

About one week ago I was having a lunch break with my co-worker at a restaurant where they had my local arcade, that got shut maybe 20 years ago. A place where I spend lots of time playing pinball in early to mid eighties.

Anyways, we talked about that place, he also remembered that even he is around 15 years younger than me. He told me about this video game where I could try out and play pinballs that are hard to find nowadays. And here I am. I haven't even tried this out yet, but interested.

1. I was looking out the list of pinballs found at http://www.pinballarcade.com , are those all the pinballs this video game has to offer?
2. Are they adding more in the future, and if so, are there a place to request some?
3. Do you need gamepad of some sort to play this game, or is keyboard or mouse enough?

It seems that this game has lots of pinballs tables included, but all of them are unknown to me. Most of them are way too new actually... I would love to try out pinballs I remember well from the past. I looked out few videos from YouTube from this game, and it seems that this game is really well done, the tables almost look like a real thing and I hope that they would feel that way too (that Centaur pinball looked sweet, even I have never seen it before). Maybe the developers arent interested in older pinballs that much, or the audience? I don't know.

I remember spending a lot of time with pinballs like Solar Fire (or Solar Flame, cant say for sure, but I think it is from late 70's or early 80's), Xenon, Vector and Fireball 2. I could name few more but I don't want to embarrass myself remembering those names wrong.

Maybe there are other games like this around that have some of those tables, or others from that time period (late 70's and early 80's)? Do you know any?

Thank you for you help.

If you have android or Apple device, you can download the app for free and try demo of any table available ( free play up to a certain score) then you also have free table of the month, free tales of arabian nights pinball. There are 50 pinball machines recreated and a new one coming each month more or less. Have a try.
Here in forum you will find lots of people requesting the tables you mentioned, but yes you are a minority and most people request newer pins.

Hey padre, welcome to the world of virtual pinball! The Pinball Arcade (TPA) is the best pinball simulation, you're definitely going to want to install the free demos and check it out asap. The best part of tpa is that you can play it on your phone or tablet, console, or pc. You don't need a game pad but you can use it if you want.

If you are interested in other real pinball simulation, check out Visual Pinball. Its for pc only, and in some regards , is a better true simulation. But it is complicated to use. If you are a computer and pinball nerd (like me) you will want to chec k it out. Also, more of the older tables are available on visual pinball. Google it and also check out what can be done with it, YouTube virtual pinball cabinets.

Let us know how your pinball discovery quest is going.

You can also try out the version on Steam PC/Mac for free as well.

They say they are, but apparently the older tables haven't tended to sell very well, so they don't feel they can do very many of them. I did just see someone say they're thinking of having 1 EM machine in both season 4 and season 5 though, so that's something.

People tend to make requests on the Pinball Arcade Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pinballarcade

There's a thread on this forum where some folks have been keeping track of what the developers, FarSight, have said about the likelihood of specific tables being added: http://digitalpinballfans.com/showt...arSight-said-about-___-table-quot-List-Thread

Welcome to the forum! : )
