Seems to play nicely. I was worried that the captive ball would be too easy or safe leading to long grinds through the boat awards a la Funhouse, but that doesn't seem to be the case, at least upon my first impression. Even with only a few games however, there is issues with the table getting confused over how many balls are in the caster's club and spitting an extra out after multiball or losing one during. Also, after I played a game and got a high score, the machine wouldn't let me enter my initials for most boats rocked; I waited a while and then finally the enter button came up for the high score initials.

Yeah. This is exciting. And earlier in the day than the last few releases if I remember correctly

Appears to quit the game after entering initials and table goals aren't registering either. Anyone else experiencing this??

In the meantime, let's reboot and see what happens....

Still the same after reboot. Those issues aside, great table. Plays fabulously. Like this a lot

Saved data, deleted app, reinstalled, restored data, works perfectly. Easy peasy

Tried the demo, dont think I will be buying it though. Has to many ball drains for me to like it.

Im sure others will enjoy the challenge but it's not for me.

I like it alot. I can see many similarities to Taxi. The shortened flippers are brutal though.

Five bucks a table now? Season Pass is the way to go. $30.00 for ten (probably really good or great) tables. That's 40% off. Or $40.00 for the pro versions. That's 60% off. You can tell FarSight wants to sell season passes. And you know what? They just sold a pro pass to this guy. Merry Christmas. :)

No offense, but I take it you don't play many real pinball machines?

What I meant was that this table seems much more brutal than the others in the game...

And Jeff would be right, not many tables around where I live. Only played 2 real tables in my lifetime.

Bought the Pro season pass! Pretty good deal, but I suppose I'll have to do a bit of explaining when my wife sees the iTunes charge at 40 bucks rather than the usual, occasional 5 bucks. Haven't gotten a chance to play yet. Stoopid job.

seems a little mean (along the lines of CC mean) - after about eight games my best score is still less than 200M, which earns me 20 points. ok it's only eight games, but it sets a benchmark - my best is unlikely to be better than 5 or maybe in my dreams 10 times this, or 100 - dreaming 200 points :(

FS, i think you set the goalposts too high again!

Beautiful table, plays excellent and very well done graphics. (Compare these to Class of 1812...) Why does it have to take two table packs before we see this quality again? I wish I could say I buy the season pass, but FarSights graphics teams are picked random for making tables. Like Forest Gump says, you never know what you gonna get. Stick to this quality level FarSight. Especially now that you seem to charge €4,49 for a single table..
Compliments for Fish Tales!

Looks like 1000HoF is set somewhere around 8.6B. A full-up Super Jackpot can net 600M so I guess it's doable, albeit quite a slog. Beats Carcass Canyon at any rate.

It's definitely not as brutal as it originally was in the beta. Plus it has a ball saver and gives out an extra ball quickly, so they can't make it too easy or it'd just be another marathon. To me it doesn't feel all that different than some of the other tables (Taxi for instance), in terms of tuning.

UK owners are getting stiffed on the prices, though - despite the promise of saving "nearly 40%", at £20.99 (vs 10x£2.99) we are actually only getting a discount of just under 30%.

The description is misleading, and ought to be changed - hopefully to an actual 40% discount, which would bring it in at more like £17.99.
