Whilst going back and fixing bugs on older tables I sure hope they give Season 1&2 tables a new 'lick of paint' as when you compare them to Season 4 tables onwards there's a big gap in quality now

Maybe he means that because this forum is called Pinball Arcade Fans, we should stick to posting fanboy compliments.

It's very noticeable these days when I click on 'what's new' that there are a host of bugs and problems with TPA currently. And 'troll' is such an easy insult to throw from the moral high ground. So yeah, what did you mean, Mr Lehmann?

I really love to play me some TPA and want to buy the season 6 pass but am skeptical because the past 4 or 5 updates have messed up a couple of my favorites. At this point I am worried they might not get fixed, making it hard to invest in a new round of tables this could in theory happen to also. Its hard not to cave and just cough up the dough tho, Indy 500 looks like a good one

I'm on hold from updating (or buying new tables) TPA for months now. See the 'missing tables' thread. Sad that it's taking so long to fix that bug.

Just lost an excellent ball 1 multiball on Twilight Zone because the camera zoomed out to the plunger view and the flippers stopped responding. Did not resume normal operation until all balls drained. iOS, iPad Air 2.

Farsight, please focus on fixing TPA before you sell $5 tables that run like total garbage on GearVR's Stern Pinball Arcade, thanks.

The same thing has happened to me on iPad 4 with Twilight Zone and Monster Bash, just to name a few. I wish the infinite scoring loop on Firepower and the ball flying out the back of Terminator's head would get fixed.

Well they fixed the Monster Bash multiball cam issue :). Glad to see it

I got to say the dudes working on the game and commenting on here probably have no control over what they work on next. These guys want there game to be free of issues and know first hand what needs fixed, its up to management what the priority is though. Keep up the great work FlippyFloppy and the rest of you farsight guys.

I will be getting me the season 6 pass tomorrow paycheck permitting.

Is there any chance that they can go back and fix TZ's missing wall between the Camera and Gumball Machine exit? I'm sick and tired of hard camera shots going up the gumball lane and not counting, it makes multiball much harder.

Here's a new one to me: I was just playing Star Trek TNG on my iPad Air 2 and upon restarting the table all the sound/music was playing 2x as fast.

I tried to play ToTAN but the ball bounces like a basket ball.. why don't they put more effort into showcasing what they're capable of in the free table? Wonder why no top scoring player here has a top 100 score on ToTAN.

As it's table id 0, its leaderboard has been especially prone to getting scores from other tables. A table with unknown/missing table id got id 0 handed to it by default. That's my theory, anyway. (I know it has ten times the number of players as most other tables, but this isn't the main reason.)

Makes u wonder about FUUTA's score. And again, not the only table where he got some "weird" score and goes above a 9 or 99 or 999 without even knowing if it's possible and that it's strange anyway to get that high.

Steam has an offline mode that lets you launch the game, the game has a separate login. FUUTA doesn't play tables past season 3 so no reason to update.

As for Dizzers comment, there's some grey area knowledge that one could apply to figure out what scores will or wont post, and if one does so, should do it when not logged in/internet connected.

I've done that to deduce what the '10B rollover issue' was on high scoring games like Addams Familys bogus bonus and shown its exploitable on Tee'd Offs skins mode by intentionally losing from 8B to 0 then restoring my lost score of 8B (it's a game feature, as long as you dont drain), would treat it as a 18B score.

As for why Fish Tables doesn't have rollover detection, no idea! they could have just as easily copied it from earlier tables that implemented it. It works just the same in Addams Family, and Tee'd Off: the game (farsights) has a rollover value and a rollover multiplier in memory, after the game ends and shows you the number the rom can support the game adds to that value on the next screen by tacking on what it kept count of, like so... (rom_score + (rollover_value * rollover_count)), and submits that score to the leaderboard. How the rollovers are detected was mentioned earlier.. (in short: (8B mark or more) to (0 to 1.9B mark), = +1 to multiplier)
