Now that I'm thinking about it, farsighted probably can't afford Super Mario bros. If they couldn't afford Fester for Adams family.

The way I recall it Christopher Lloyd wanted what the Kickstarter was going for (100k). He wanted to be paid more than any other actor likeness on the table. The problem with that was whatever Addams contract the actors have stipulated certain actors would need to be paid more for their likeness than other actors. I would guess in this case it would be Rual Julia and Angelica Houston. So if Lloyd is getting 100k the other actors that are contracted to be paid more than him would require that. The costs to make the table happen with everyone's likeness on there would be pretty astronomical. It would never reach it's 300k+ Kickstarter goal. If Farsight funded it I doubt they would come close to making their money back on the table. So removing Lloyd's likeness from the table solved that issue easily and allowed the table to be digitized - works for me.

As far as Super Mario Bros goes it could be Nintendo doesn't even have any interest in licensing the table. Or they have thrown out a number for the license that doesn't make it cost effective (Farsight is a company in it for making money remember?). Or they haven't even approached Nintendo about the table(s). Who knows unless Farsight provides that information.

From my own experiences playing Super Mario Bro's is just ok. Having the classic sounds/music from the games and new callouts from Mario are neat but the table is pretty simple. The table has a really wide ramp that's hard to miss, wide lanes, and oversized capture holes the balls always seem to go in. It's an easy table and after the novelty wears off it gets boring quickly.

I've been away from this for a few days, but after reading through the entire thing, it's more than done.
