Crashes when submitting high score to leaderboards. My score never get there - still displays as "none"

Tried restarting my iPad and it still crashes (closes and goes to iOs home screen) when the table says "updating" at the end of the game.
Just played a game of cyclone and same thing happened
Hope this is just a temp glitch with farsight servers and not something nasty in the jackbot update.
Looking forward to tourney on Friday!!!

You guys that are having the problems, what version of iOS are you using? I ask because I'm using 8.1.3 and having no problems. The transparent ball on cyclone is gone too! Which is great news for me because I hate using the original ball.

Just got a 930mil casino run... Arg. And got really far in mega visor... Arg. But I kinda like the hard wizard goals. Not gonna lie

I'm really liking jack*bot. Sounds are awesome, gameplay are the awesome, and graphics are better than cyclone at least. It's like someone barfed a bunch of colors, but I'm into it. Pretty unexpected. Good job FS! As far as tables I'd come back to, season 4 hasn't been the greatest. But I still really like it. Also I keep expecting to hear 'partial optical link'. But I'm glad they didn't use the same freaking samples. Oh yeah, another thing I was expecting was that the casino games would be too similar to HRC. It's actually quite different. +1 for jckbot. Sorry pinbot, you are now an artifact (still fun to go for the sun value though)

Tried deleting the table with no help there. The extra ball goal will not trigger for me no matter what. Seems the first run after re-install (and initial install) kept the met standard goals and high score for that game, but subsequent games are not saved after force close.

Otherwise seems like a great table and more fun than PinBot

I have the same issue with the extra ball goal not registering -- but no crashing. Running 8.3.1 on iPad2

But I have to say I think this is my favorite table of Season 4 so far -- it is wonderfully familiar, but entirely new, if that makes sense.

To top it off my HOF points have no registered since TAF. Not that I really care anymore. I have about 500 more points than what is showing. Cyclone and this table aren't updating.

Well it sounds like an IOS update problem. Can anyone on an older iOS confirm that it's working or not?

Pinballchros, just hang in there man. I feel your pain. But if it needs to brought to FS's attention you're going about it the wrong way. I'm just assuming here, but any game-breaking bug, you're going to be mad and just play the blame game. If we figure out the problem first, it's much easier to bring it to FS's attention. Don't you agree? It might be affecting you more than other people, but let's try to figure it out, and go from there. See you in the tourney man!

Is this a lesson learned to all you iOS users? DO NOT UPDATE UNTIL YOU KNOW EVERYTHING IS HASHED OUT. Sorry for yelling. Never update right away though. It can wait

Seems to work fine for me so far, I've played two games. I'm on iOS 8.2. Ipad 4. The table looks awesome and has some cool rules. Wizard goals look fun as well.

I always update on my phone first and "sniff" around to make sure things are ok. Then I do my iPad if it passes the smell test! Just sharing one way to do things if you have multiple devices. Another is to have both the paid version and the free version on your devise and update only one and check that out before doing the other version.

No issues here regarding TPA force-closing on either an iPad Air 2 or an iPad mini 2. Both are on iOS 8.3.

If deleting just the table did not help, try the following (listed in the order of trying to preserve your data)

1. Try resetting your device:

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

If no help:
2. Try to isolate the issue further, by logging out of your Farsight account and test. Then try logging out of both the Farsight account as well as Game Center and test again.

If no help:
3. Back up your scores to Farsight's servers. Now try deleting, then re-installing TPA...I know, a pain in the butt but this may in fact help and it's worked for others in the past.

Hopefully, one of these will help resolve your issue...good luck!

EDIT: In the process of downloading TPA 4.7.0 (Jack*Bot) on iPhone 5s...will test and report back...
EDIT 2: No problems found on iPhone 5s, also running iOS 8.3.

Also when running TPA make sure EVERY other application is completely shut down. Ie: rapidly hit bottom button twice. Scroll through anything that isn't TPA and take your finger and slip up while touching whatever pep is on the screen such as mail or safari.

Trust me I wasn't complaining too bad. Lol. It was still fun playing despite the force closes. My main complaint is the HoF issue. I knew of the possible solutions but was too lazy to do them-but in the end the entire delete of the app with reinstall fixed the FC issue. Haven't earned an extra ball yet or re-scored an 8B point game to see if HOF gets posted.
