UPDATE Table Add-On Packs #19 And #20 PS3/PS Vita (NA/EU) Release Dates Confirmed!...Table Add-On Pack #22 Table To Be Revealed Tomorrow!


• Table Add-On Pack #19 featuring Class of 1812 and Victory should be available on PS3/PS Vita (NA) on January 14th and PS3/PS Vita (EU) on January 15th.

• Table Add-On Pack #20 featuring Cue Ball Wizard and El Dorado : City of Gold should be available on PS3/PS Vita (NA) on January 21st and PS3/PS Vita (EU) on January 22nd.

• FarSight will reveal the new table featured in the upcoming Table Add-On Pack #22 (due out on Android, iOS, Kindle Fire, Mac, OUYA and PC mid to late January and PS3 (NA/EU), PS Vita (NA/EU) and PS4 (NA/EU) by mid March) tomorrow on their official Pinball Arcade Facebook page.

UPDATE Weekly Wrap-Up For Week Ending June 21, 2014!


I've decided to create a new "Weekly Wrap-Up" news post which will be posted every Sunday beginning today and will feature all the latest news and updates on The Pinball Arcade for the previous week gathered from various sources for everyone's convenience, so without further ado...

• FarSight announced the winners of the June mobile week long timed tournament which you can view HERE.

• FarSight is looking to release DirectX 11 support for the Steam PC version of The Pinball Arcade shortly after the release of the Xbox One version which is slated for Q3 2014.

• FarSight announced their Steam Summer Sale for the Steam (Mac/PC) version of The Pinball Arcade which runs from June 19th through June 30th and they are offering some sweet discounts! 25% off Season One and 10% off Season Two!!! They are also offering the Launch Pack including Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Theatre of Magic, and Black Hole for only 1¢ from within the game!

• Table Add-On Packs #21 (Fish Tales) and #22 (Black Rose) and their respective Pro Versions were released for PS3/PS Vita (EU) on June 18th and PS4 (EU) on June 19th.

• Table Add-On Packs #23 (Black Knight 2000), #24 (WHO dunnit?), #25 (High Speed) and #26 (Junk Yard) have all been submitted to SCEA and SCEE and are currently awaiting approval. Release time frame for PS3 (NA/EU), PS4 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU) is Q3 2014.

• FarSight launched a week long timed tournament for PS3/PS Vita (NA/EU) on June 20th which features Fish Tales, Black Rose, Cue Ball Wizard, Monster Bash, Big Shot, Elvira and the Party Monsters, Dr. Dude and Firepower.

• Xbox One and the Xbox 360 versions of The Pinball Arcade are still on track for a Q3 2014 release and re-release respectively.

UPDATE Weekly Wrap-Up For Week Ending June 28, 2014!


• FarSight announced that Stern’s High Roller Casino will be the next table to join Season Three and posted early screenshots of the upcoming table which you can view HERE.

• Table Add-On Pack #28 featuring High Roller Casino should be available on Android, iOS, Kindle Fire, OS X, OUYA and Steam (Mac/PC) on July 11th and PS3 (NA/EU), PS4 (NA/EU), PS Vita (NA/EU), Xbox 360 and Xbox One Q4 2014.

• iOS version 3.7.1, which includes various fixes and initial blue goji support, was released on June 23rd.

• SCEA and SCEE have approved Table Add-On Packs #23 (Black Knight 2000), #24 (WHO dunnit?), #25 (High Speed) and #26 (Junk Yard) and FarSight are currently awaiting confirmed release dates for PS3 (NA/EU), PS4 (NA/EU) and PS Vita (NA/EU).

• Season Two tables for the PS4 (NA/EU) are complete and ready to go once the Xbox One version of The Pinball Arcade has been available for a minimum of 30 days per their contract with Microsoft.

• FarSight still has plans to release a Wii U version of The Pinball Arcade and hopes to resume development once the Xbox 360/One versions are released, Season Two is released for the PS4 and DirectX 11 support is released for the Steam PC version.

• FarSight has been working hard the past year to acquire all the licenses required to release Bally’s The Addams Family and are still hoping to add it to The Pinball Arcade line-up in the not too distant future.

• FarSight doesn’t have any plans to support stereoscopic 3d headsets at the moment, but that could change.

The long awaited table that Pinball Arcade fans have been clamoring for since the announcement of The Pinball Arcade is just a Kickstarter away from joining FarSight Studio's ever expanding library of classic pinball tables...and it's just around the corner!

That's right...Bally's 1992 The Addams Family is within arm's reach and FarSight will need the help of the pinball community more than ever to make this once pipe dream become a reality.

FarSight officially announced the following on Friday, July 11th :

"If you are thinking... "Don't tease us any more with the Addams Family™ back glass!" Guess what? We aren't. We've agreed upon terms with all of the major licenses and clearances we need to FINALLY do a Kickstarter to recreate the highly anticipated ADDAMS FAMILY™ pinball table!!! We ask about the history of trying to get TAF into The Pinball Arcade, and what you can expect from the Kickstarter campaign. UPDATE Help Bring THE ADDAMS FAMILY To The Pinball Arcade!


Help FarSight bring The Addams Family pinball table to game consoles and mobile devices for a whole new generation to enjoy!

FarSight wants to digitize the most popular pinball table of all time! The Addams Family table was released by Williams in 1992 and is unquestionably one of the greatest pinball tables in the history of pinball with over 20,000 units sold (More than any table ever!). It was designed by the legendary Pat Lawlor and Larry DeMar (who also designed Twilight Zone, Banzai Run and Funhouse). This table was integrated more deeply to the movie than any other licensed pinball table of its time. The Addams Family featured the first ever optical target bank (in the bookcase), and the "Thing Flip" which was the first time a pinball tables flippers could be controlled by the tables CPU. When the "Thing Flip" is active the table can actually make shots for you. Another great feature is "The Power" which causes magnets to dramatically effect the direction of the ball on the playfield. It's one of FarSight's favorite tables ever!

FarSight has succeeded in negotiating all of the licenses they need to digitize The Addams Family and bring it to The Pinball Arcade. Unfortunately, there are several licenses involved : in addition to the Williams license, they need a license for The Addams Family, the actor likeness of Raul Julia (Gomez Addams) and Anjelica Huston (Morticia Addams), on the backglass and play field, and the right to use the actor voiceovers during gameplay. When FarSight added up the costs of each required license and calculate what they’d have to charge for the table, they've concluded that The Addams Family is just not commercially viable. The more they charge for the table the fewer people will be able to buy it - and their goal is to expose as many people as possible to this great table, not just a select few.

Here’s where you come in! The licenses FarSight has secured for The Addams Family will cost $101,000 (and that’s just for the licenses - FarSight will cover all of the development expenses themselves). Thanks to the amazing generosity of pinball fans throughout the world, their previous Kickstarter project for the Terminator 2 : Judgement Day pinball table raised $3,360 more than they needed for the Terminator 2 : Judgment Day licenses and they're applying this towards the license costs of The Addams Family. If FarSight can raise the remaining $97,640 they'll be able to digitize the Addams Family and preserve one of the greatest pinball tables of all time. Also, if The Addams Family Kickstarter raises more than the goal, FarSight will be able to digitize other licensed tables as well.

With that said, the time has come once again for the pinball community to pull together to help bring the #1 rated and best-selling pinball table of all time to The Pinball Arcade for all generations to enjoy and you can do so by pledging HERE.

"Amazing First Day!

Coming to a close of our first full day and we are already 33% funded with with over $33,000 raised! If this momentum keeps up, we can introduce some super awesome stretch goals! We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the fans, and are very excited to be on our way to digitizing the amazing Addams Family pinball table. With our strong start, things are looking good, but we aren't there yet! We still have a long way to go, so let's all try to think of creative ways to get this out there!

Addams Family Tournament

We just launched the Mobile and PS3/Vita tournament! From the main menu in the game select "Tournament" to get started. We had a hiccup in our plans to make this tournament completely exclusive, so the tournament will be open to everyone, but we will only be offering prizes to the top ten that meet the $15 pledge requirement. everyone is welcome to compete, but only backers will be counted.
