Across the board ROM emulation (where applicable) and per-table camera settings are still the things I want to see. Other items have been provided/fixed to my satisfaction, though I'd also like to see the new UI.

Can wait till TPA 2 but would like to see:

- Ability to drop/live catch
- Ball spin
- Ball bounce

The additional physics and gameplay elements would add quite a bit to each of the tables.

Almost forgot one of my biggest issues:

Standardize the camera angles, or allow per-table free positioning that will save to the table. I still cannot believe how "off" some of the angles are on these tables (blocked outlanes or sides cut off) and the lack of consistent camera views is just... bizarre. And distracting.

- Better lighting - ie: Dx11 on PC
- Difficulty options
- Cabinet support at least with backglass (PC)
- User definable lockable camera view per table
- ability to turn off achievement notifications. I don't know what they are but I know they don't exist in real pinball and this is a simulation.

Pretty sure this is a Steam Overlay setting. Just wait though, a Steam Overlay working through Google Glass could soon be popping up achievements for every walk of your life!

Got a strike in bowling? Steam pops up with the "Strike!" achievement in front of your eyeballs.
Forgot your anniversary, again? Up pops the "Dog House" icon.
Just lost your job? There's a GIF of Donald Trump in your vision saying, "You're Fired!"

- The new UI that was hinted at a while back would be a lovely way to kick off Season 4.

- I would love to set some sort of goal score, and have the option to have a small percentage displayed in the generic white font next to the HUD that shows in real time how close you are to it (or how far past you are). This goal score could be the last game you played on the table; it could be your local high score; it could be the score needed to achieve a certain number of Hall-Of-Fame points; it could start with your lowest local high score, and then when you reach it, it changes to the next lowest high score (with a small indicator for which ordinal number high score is next on the list), and so on; it could have that same behavior for the top 100 scores on the weekly, monthly, or all-time leaderboards for the table; it could be an arbitrary score you set manually; it could be anything else that FarSight dreams up and offers in a menu to set up that feature. Would love to see that.

- Would love to see multi-table challenges. Not fixed ones that are just for a certain season or a certain manufacturer, but dynamic ones that may randomly choose anywhere from two to N tables (N being the number of tables you own), and offering up challenge scores that either randomly vary between or progress through "fairly easy" to "quite difficult" (e.g., from 1/6 to 2x your personal high score, say). Those challenge scores could be partly based on your local high scores (or maybe your high score on the monthly leaderboard) so that this challenge system would be auto-handicapping over time. It would never be the same challenge twice. (Your progress toward your challenge score could be one of the options for the feature in the bullet point above.) The challenges might not have to end after missing the challenge on one table, maybe you could have one mulligan, or "three strikes and you're out", and the number of attempts you get on each table may vary as well. It could be fixed at one, two, or three, or you could keep trying until you don't beat your last score. Or, there could be a fixed number of missed attempts used across all the tables of the challenge as needed. Lots of options to explore here.

- Wish I could reset all local high scores and standard and wizard goals for a single table without them being restored from backup, and without affecting other tables. Quite useful after a beta-test is finished, and I've achieved things that are much harder after proper tuning. (See: Ransom, Black Knight 2000.) Would also be useful after a major tuning change that radically alters the difficulty of a table (See: Upper Eject Hole Fix, Scared Stiff.)

- Within Table Exploration in the Pro Menu, I'd love to be able to explore more than just the playfield surface. I'd like to see the backglass and side cabinet art as well.

- Maybe years on, when mobile devices get more powerful, on selected powerful mobile devices, I'd love for General Illumination lighting effects to come to mobile. It's probably a feature that you could turn on or off, and even then only if the detected device is certified as capable of handling it.

- For mobile devices with accelerometers, non-binary nudging. The table should be nudged in the direction and magnitude proportional with the physical nudge, not just a uni-directional nudge of a fixed magnitude when the accelerometers go above a single threshold.

- Add the ability for anyone to establish a public or private league, and for anyone to join a public league or a private league to which they've been invited. The league would have a commissioner that would set the rules and competitive basis for the league. Offer league commissioners many options on how to set the competitive basis for each league (e.g. which tables are used?, use Hall-Of-Fame points?, establish some other point formula for the tables? fastest to beat a challenge score on each table? one standings point for each other league member whose score on a specific table you've beaten, most standings points wins? "regular season" vs "playoffs"? custom tournaments?, use best score or most recent score?, ...?)

- +1 on multiple difficulty settings with their own leaderboards.

- +1 on saved custom camera angles for each table.

- On-line multiplayer? Hmm. I'm skeptical because I'm not sure I want to wait around for Sean Don Carlos to finish his ball (and any extra balls) on Twilight Zone.

Thanks for the info. Not sure if I used the correct term. I am referring to the 'Goal n complete' messages that appear near the flippers, rather than the popups in the corner. Does anyone know if those goal notifications can be turned off already, if not this is a most wanted!? Thanks

A game timer. I want to know exactly how much of my life I have wasted on this game.

Plus, if they record time on each table, it would make a great criteria to sort on for the new UI.

This would be a cool thing to put into Game Center/Google Play Games/etc as a long term achievement.

Cool idea, and easy to implement.

A deal with Stern for release of new titles as the real thing comes out. Failing this, for the best Sterns of recent times, like SM, LOTR, ACDC

My main wish, though, is for something I keep hoping for with each new release: a special sound for losing more than one ball within say 2 seconds, multidrain ™ Perhaps more dramatic for losing three balls or even four, five .....

Above all, for console versions, the possibility to play offline, and if you set a new highscore offline, your score in the leaderboard is automatically updated as soon as you go online.

And, a tiny list:

FUTURE PATCH REQUESTS ...."Mega Patch" ? ;)
1. Ability to play custom music either via the XMB or in game menu. (Would be perfect for Arcade Ambience mp3 background sounds!)
2. Online co-op play with option with voice chat.
3. The Pinball Arcade main menu overhaul.
4. Lighting day/night slider. (This was discussed by Farsight quite a while ago, but as of yet, not implemented.)
5. Improved pinball flyer scans (1920x1080 pixel or higher would be idea for consoles)
6. Further refinement and replacement of blurry table graphics (I.E. CFTBL - Title card, instructions, Universal Monsters sticker, and the bumper next to the KISS lane, Victory playfield is low res. )
7. Seperate savable option settings for EACH table for EVERY option: Camera view: 1/2/3/4 + Camera lock: locked/unlocked +
Plunger cam: 1/2/3 + DMD: on/off + Multiball cam: on/off + Event cam: on/off + Number of balls: 3/5 + Dual stage flippers: on/off + Orientation: landscape/portrait + 3D settings + Sound settings + Controller settings + Touchscreen settings + Tilt settings + Lighting Settings
(submitted be Neil L.)
8. The ability to view table instructions while game is paused.
9. Option to remove HUD when table is in "pre-play" panning attract mode.
10. Option for table glass and reflections (like in Williams Pinball Hall of Fame)
11. TATE mode for PS3 version. Perfect for rotatable screens.
12. Multi-controller support. (Submitted by MonkeyGrass)
13. Add Hall of Fame Scoring. (Submitted by Grashopper)
14. Add a "tournament" difficulty setting (which disables extra-balls) and separate leaderboards for it. (Submitted by Tann)
15. We could use more camera viewing angles. (Submitted by Budtki)
16. Improved sound quality with less compression than is used on the portable versions of TPA.
17. Add a statistics menu (global play time, number of plays and play time per table, average score per table, etc.)
18. Any highscores made offline are automatically posted once you go online again.

Especial +1 for #8, 14, 17, and 18. #18 could apply to tournaments as well.

In our just recorded and soon to be posted podcast #9, we discuss a few of the smaller things we'd like to see changed that could maybe be snuck in. For myself, it's changing out that stupid guitar music as the game starts up. It's seriously driving me crazy these days.

Yeah, I much prefer when it would play the music from a random (or was it last played) table you owned in the original UI. That guitar track is so cheesy and sets a pretty dull tone for the game.
