I still have hope, PS Vita is done and over with, and "Nintendo 3DS is here to stay".

You may get high resolution specs, Hatsune Miku, Cross-play and more games, Here's 3 reasons why New Nintendo 3DS is up to snuff for TPA.

1. Although a new model, (in case you forgot.) it has Enhanced Processing Power. (seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQJVXldcodk)
2. Super Mario Bros. (even Jon Norris says it should be done!) and maybe amiibo figures and/or features!
3. Majority of handheld users between mobile, and 3DS, meaning equal (or more) popularity!

Its still a weak CPU though, I doubt very much the game could run as-is.

They would have to ditch emulation and just simulate the tables, that's a lot of work for a developer that always comes across as overworked on the platforms they already support.
