Just posting an (undoubtedly in vain) late prayer for Time Warp. Pleased to know I'm not the only one hoping for Banana Flippers.

So when do we see the results?

"The series runs from June 9, 2013 to August 31, 2013 with each of the six blind polls (which will feature 30 tables each) running for two weeks. The current poll standings will be visible for 24hrs. mid way through each active poll, after which, the poll standings will be hidden once again for the remainder of the entire poll series. Voters will be restricted to 10 choices per poll, so choose wisely. The Top Ten Most Wanted Tables selected in each category will be revealed on Friday September 6, 2013 and will collectively represent the 60 Most Wanted Tables as voted by the pinball community." (bolding mine.)

I only got to pick 9, I meant to pick Banzai Run as well. Is it too late to get that vote in there? I'll be more careful with the future polls.

29) Stellar Wars (1979) - 17, 4.26%
30) Road Kings (1986) - 14, 3.51%

In-depth analysis is coming shortly, but for now, let me express my disappointment at how poorly the early solid states did–not one of the eight ESS decks in the poll reached the top half of the standings, whereas the other three manufacturer-based polls each had at least one early solid state in the top 10. This is partially explainable by dint of many of the higher-profile Williams ESSes having already made their way into TPA, but no DMD had fewer votes than Comet's 59, while only 4 out of 14 alphanumerics placed lower and only 30th-placed Road Kings failed to finish ahead of at least six early solid states. Methinks a separate poll just for early solid states may be in order...

Barracuda? I think autocorrect got you on that one. It changed Barracora on you.

Very interested to see what you come up with after your analysis.
Have we ever had an early solid state poll in here? That would be fun.

Thanks for the heads-up, Kolchak! I don't know of any early solid state polls aside from the ones specific to Bally and Stern, but given how DMDs seem to have hypnotic powers over so many pinheads, I really do think we need one.

Agreed with the disappointment on the early Williams SS tables. Those are some of my favorites. High Speed, the original, as betrayed by my avatar, is clearly the one I wanted to see do better. I've chatted about my reasoning in other threads and won't belabor it here. Glad to see High Speed's daughter table, BK2K, F-14, and Red&Ted make the top. I just hope FarSight sees the value in the original High Speed.

Honestly,I'd be surprised if we didn't see High Speed before FS is all done. While I loved the polls for what they are/were - once the PHOF releases end - if they are still going to do two tables a month I would think that most of those tables, for a few reasons - will come mostly from WMS & Bally.

I'm a bit disappointed that High Speed didn't crack the top ten. But 13th isn't bad.

But High speed 2. Well, I'm ecstatic to see it in number 2. I was very aware that there was love for the table but never realized there was that much love for it.

Hopefully we can get a feature pack with both games. That would be pretty awesome.

lets be more realistic: it'll be much more interesting to see some different 2nd table - not two variations of 1. espcially considering fact that tables dont appear magically - if we take one, it means we dont take some another. i'll prefer to have high speed and F-14, for example, instead of two versions of high speed

Well, I certainly do hope we end up with both High Speeds. However, I agree that we won't see them in the same table pack. FarSight hasn't yet put two very similar or similarly themed tables into the same pack yet, and with good reason. If you had a pack with two similar tables and you didn't like one of them, it's more likely that you won't like the other one and will end up skipping the pack altogether. Better to have a pack with two tables that have very different appeals so that you're more likely to like at least one of them.

The closest we got to that were the Elvira tables. I wouldn't mind HS followed by HS2 the month after.
