Why are people so worried about the spinning mini-flipper on Monopoly? Have any of you ever played it and had it actually screw you up/cause a drain? I've played it several times, never had it negatively affect my game. Folks on here are usually way too willing to hail every Pat Lawlor table as genius, but this one that is really quite good and underrated, not so much. I don't get it.

Farsight do have people who they contact to work out how much a licence is worth, maybe they passed on the knowledge that Nugent has a really low licensing fee as opposed to RoboCop or TMNT (film licences)

Maybe. But there's a new Robocop movie coming and releasing the table to profit form the publicity and buzz around the movie would be a really good move. Same thing with TMNT, there's a movie coming, a new cartoon, a new toy line.
I mean we never know, they can cross their fingers and hope there is a Nugent movie and action figures coming soon.

The Nugent action figure jokes write themselves, but I'll refrain from anything that might be construed as political.

I voted for seven.

1. Seawitch
2. Quicksilver
3. Stars
4. Laser War
5. Rocky & Bullwinkle
6. Monopoly
7. Checkpoint

That's three classic Sterns, three Data East tables and one modern Stern.

200th voter! It's awesome how popular these polls are.

I went for, in order:

1. Monopoly - Fantastic Lawlor game and a good Stern addition.
2. Rollercoatser Tycoon - See Monopoly
3. NASCAR - Fast fun game that will also up the amount of Stern games in TPA nicely.
4. Sharkey's Shootout - Its 8 Ball Deluxe but with actual depth.
5. High Roller Casino - Modern game that I enjoy playing.
6. Tales from the Crypt - Aside from Jurassic Park and Guns n Roses, I'm inclined to say its Data East's best game.
7. Rocky & Bullwinkle - Decent colourful game that I'd like to get to know better.
8. Lazer War - An old-school game that's tons of fun.
9. Time Machine - Never got on with it on location so a TPA release would allow me to get to know it better.
10. Checkpoint - Neat theme and first ever DMD.

So no crusty old games from me as they're really not my thing but I'm sure they'll still get some love on this poll regardless, which is good.

I saved a Ninja Turtles machine several years ago that was headed for the landfill. I've been around pinball since the late '70s, but this one's the first I've owned. Repairing it has given me a real soft spot for this particular table, and a new love/passion for the sport* in general.
So while I was obviously sad to not see TMNT in this poll, I have to remind myself that we aren't exactly dictating FarSight's to-do list, either.

*I have no problem calling pinball a sport. Watch the documentary "Special When Lit" before you disagree. And if you agree, that goes double. It's available w/o ads if you have Netflix's streaming service.

I assume they were not included because of licensing issues. This vote would not include anything that would require a kickstarter to bring to life.
Some were included in the premium licensed poll which is now closed.

That's because all of those tables were in a previous 'tables needing a license poll', which I guessed you missed.

This list was not created by FS. If you think it's stupid then why don't you create your own poll?

And when that happens, we'll just mention other tables not in that list and call it stupid. We can do that. We have the internet too.
