Safari is that awful nasty liqueur.

What about the theme.. 'Shaka Zulu'?! Be the leader of the Zulu Kingdom!

If you're going to push that boundary why not Madiba?

You play the life of Mandela: Start in Jail, get freed, battle to get elected, Reconciliation, and foreign policy modes.

With a mid point wizard mode of ending apartheid via the help of international recording artists refusing to play Sun City. It'd be like a short game of civil war trying to get all the stars on your side before the song ends; the longest timed mode known to pinball!!!

The Dictator, help the tyrannical Admiral General Haffaz Aladeen to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed!
The lower playfield could be the torture chamber! Special goal is to launch a nuclear missile.

(I just can't stop laughing when I look at that urn).

I think a really good Greek Mythology pin could be great. I know there have been pins like Medusa and Hercules but a modern pin could really be something if done properly.

I've been thinking about this for a little while. We've had whitewater rafting, why not have something to do with the snow? I'm picturing a log cabin, a snowman/men (maybe a powerball you shoot around the playfield as a "snowball"?), obviously over-endowed women in tight, fluffy clothes (and perhaps even tacky, porno-style men a la Future Spa) and all the other sorts of goofiness that wouldn't be unusual in a Revenge of the Nerds/Bachelor Party/Weird Science-type movie.

Hell, tie it in with WH2O and have the bigfoot's cousin in the yeti make an appearance (even as a toy).
Oh, and it's called "Cabin Fever". Alternate titles: "Snow Balls", "Snow Business".

How about a mountain climbing theme? You could tour the worlds mountains (from easiest to hardest). Avalanche multi-ball. You could lock balls in a big carabiner toy. You could even collect an edelweiss for your love interest back down in the valley.

Your wish is my command. This guy made this pin from scratch essentially completely by himself (with some assistance from other people).

It could make a good game, but the initial premise doesn't sound all that exciting. Would it be a goofy kinda pin a la White Water, or serious? You could have a toy like the Price is Right game in the backbox which would make it pretty rad.

Those ramps are crazy. Have you played it Shaneus?
Nope! At the moment I believe there's only one, and that was at Expo last year. But I believe that he's looking at ways to get it into some kind of production, and even though I know it'll be damn pricey to get one to Australia, I'd seriously consider it. Impressions from Expo were incredible, and apparently only had one instance where he had to take the glass off for a stuck ball. Impressive for 3 days play!

Yeah Heretic, the story is that he created a very rough pinball in Visual PinMAME with his own artwork and layout, then enlisted the almighty (in the VP world) JP Salas to code it before creating a physical machine out of it using a P-ROC board. That almost literally a single guy can create a machine that's more impressive than something experienced designers at an established company can put out is mind-blowing.

So yeah, there's your Greek mythology pin ;)

Edit: I can't remember which episode, but Nate has a great interview with the guy on an episode of the Coast 2 Coast Pinball podcast. Very much worth checking out.
