HOOPS
(Gottlieb/1991/879 units)
Last Gottlieb "street level" game.
"Street level" games were an experiment by Gottlieb towards designing a simplier, single level (no ramps), slightly smaller and cheaper game.

DINER
(Williams/1990/3.552 units)
Babs and Boris are obvious caricatures of Margaret Thatcher and Boris Yeltsin, respectively.
It's also believed Haji is based on Bill Gates, and Pépé was modeled after Pancho Villa.

Sounds a little like Stern's "The Pin" Transformers title. Look how far that went...

Sing with me: "His-tor-ee. Never Repeats..." :p

JACK*BOT
(Williams/1995/2.428 units)
Mortal Kombat 3 features a reference to Jack•Bot.
One of the game's Kombat Kodes displays the text, "Hold Flippers During Casino Run", on the bottom of the screen.
By holding both flippers at the start of a "Casino Run", it is possible to receive an MK3 hint.

BUCK ROGERS
(Gottlieb/1980/7.410 units)
Where future is filled with mutants, starfighters, aliens, chest hair and, most terrifyingly... roller disco.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
(Data East/1990/3.000 units)
Michael J. Fox did not allow his likeness to appear on the game.
The "Marty McFly" image on the backglass and playfield is artist Paul Faris' son.
