Makes one wonder what is the point for the Switch release. If Xbox One can't manage, the Switch can?! Granted, would love to have access to the Peanuts, Garfield, My Little Pony tables. But I can't imagine much visual gain in the tables over FX 3 on the Switch. Already pegging the meter.

Makes me wonder if PinFX is using 4K assets for Xbox One, and scaling to 1080p properly.
The Switch release should be smaller than the rest of the versions, because that has no 4K support whatsoever. The targets to aim for are for 1080p, docked, and 720p handheld. Things shouldn't be too difficult for Zen.
Tetris Effect was a source of worry from its playerbase, because that's a game for built for more powerful systems. Built in UE4, running 4K, and supports VR. Enter the Switch release: the developers made it work. Really well, from what I heard.
If Zen releases PinFX on Switch with little issues and great gameplay, color me impressed.
There's a trophy/achievement for earning a gold or diamond tier event cup. You can check your current tier on the leaderboard screen for that table's event. The special rules events (1 ball, timer, etc) don't trigger the trophy.
I did the same routine of WWR super skill shot and tilting out to get through the season rewards trophy asap. Boring.
Really disappointed there will be no individual table trophies. I'll have all 10 trophies when today's event closes, then I'll delete Pinball FX. It'll take some steep discounts before I'll buy the Pinball FX exclusives. Won't re-purchase anything I have in earlier Zen games.

So what's up with the PS5 version? Since they released a patch a week or two ago (which fixed the flipper lag problem the initial PS5 release had), I haven't been able to connect to the online servers.
I've only found one reddit thread that even talks about it, and a few people confirmed that they have the same issue on PS5, but no real info on what happened or when to expect it to get fixed.
Anyone here have any info on this issue?

PS5 Pinball FX leaderboards inaccessible due to “internet connectivity problems”

We are already aware about the issue. Unfortunately, it's about some players having a connectivity issue on PlayStation. The devteam is working hard to solve the problem, hopefully we will have a solution very soon. Thank you!

Some? Does that mean "some" PS5 players are connecting just fine? Honestly curious about that.
I'm in USA where I'm having the connectivity problem.....wired connection......if that helps. At least I can still play the games I bought, just offline.
I miss the leaderboards the most. Sigh.....

Yes, the strange thing is that it doesn't happen to everyone on PlayStation, and it's not a generic error. The backend team is working hard to fix it.

I've observed an interesting pattern while monitoring my RTX 3080 Ti card as I play FX. When playing Williams tables at 2560x1440 resolution in view 2, with frame rate locked and game settings at 120 FPS, the power consumption ranges between 170W and 200W. My 144Hz G-sync monitor ensures a smooth gaming experience without any screen tearing, and the render latency stays under 4ms.
However, I've noticed that when I access the main menu or view the leaderboard after a game, the power usage spikes to 250W-280W. Interestingly, if I start playing the same table again from the end game/leaderboard screen, the wattage drops back to the 170W-200W range. This behavior is consistent for most Williams tables, although Medieval Madness tends to consume more power (230W-270W). Tables like Adams Family, Raider of the Lost Ark, Bride of Pinbot, and Dr. Dude consistently play under 200W.
Keep in mind that these observations are with Ray Tracing disabled; enabling it pushes power consumption above 350W.
It's a bit surprising that the main menu demands roughly twice the power compared to actual gameplay. This could be an indication that some optimization is necessary. I hope the developers can allocate resources to improve performance while continuing to deliver new content. After all, a polished gaming experience is essential for players to fully enjoy the game.

Connection issues to the server on Xbox Series S now. It's been fine since launch but after completing a game on Son of Zeus just now in the events tab the server went down. Checked for updates to the game, restarted the Xbox and the server is still down. Other games and services on the Xbox are working fine.
It's the middle of the night here so maybe it's down for maintenance? Probably not. Hopefully a fix for the PlayStation version didn't mess up the Xbox one somehow.
With the server down there are no leaderboards. no events, ect. Zaccaria Pinball has already had issues with their servers for months now. Kind of ruins the whole game. Hope Pinball FX won't suffer the same fate.

PS5 disk version 1100 series. 300mb wired internet connection. I have PS+ Premium.
Game Session ID: 9874b (but it seems to be a different number every time I load it up, so I don't know how important this is)
I bought all available tables through PSN's addons section (not from within the game) and they can be played, but no online connectivity at all.
Connection issue happens on both the PS4 and PS5 versions when played on my PS5. Pinball FX3 connects fine. I no longer have a PS4 available to use.
Another little tidbit, checking for updates for this game seems to take a long time before saying that it's the latest version.....like 5x longer than any other game.

Game got a patch on Xbox recently, 2 something gigs. I think the initial boot is a bit faster and now has a status bar. Other QoL improvements are having permanent icons of what event rewards are regardless of earned status, what the target score is followed by your score if you fail to get the score required to get a point in an event and Adventure Land no longer disappears from the Event playlist. Maybe this also fixed the connection problems that happened a few days ago that also messed up event high scoring? The Sky Pirates rankings were not updated after the patch. I still got my Diamond Cup but my ranking should have been somewhere in the 150s because I scored higher but that was during the high scoring freeze.
