Yep, making a poll this easy to manipulate is silly from the get go. Just a bad idea.

The Facebook crowd will hate all three of these tables. Not enough glitz and toys for them.
Most people on this forum will be happy with any of the three.
Kind of makes the poll pointless. I appreciate the attempt to give the fans input but it'd be easier just to release whatever FS can get their hands on.

I don't know about all that. They all were very supportive of Diner. Lots of folks on there thought Cyclone was a weather themed table though. Earthshaker had support as well but also a couple people bashed it pretty hard which I don't get. It actually is a great layout with lots of good shots and a fun theme. I'm not a fan of Diner (or Mark Ritchie tables in general) but I don't think his tables suck either. They are fun to play for a bit. Give me anything except Stern Rolling Stones and I'll be happy.

Agree. They are all good tables in their own right.
The poll has been a complete farce.First and last poll I think.

It's really a shame, too. I think they had really been doing well in stringing together some great actions with PS3 releases, Mega Patch and universally applauded tables in Season 3 and now the poll thing derails that momentum. The poll itself was another great step to be applauded. I like that they were trying to be all inclusive by allowing anyone to vote, not just forum members, but the hosting site sucked. Maybe could have worked if they just took the results from the time that it was announced on Twitch to about an hour after the Twitch ended (to thank the Twitch participants for tuning in) but that's not very inclusive.

There was a which do you want first poll once before. Centaur won and we got it. But we never got the other 2, Eight Ball Deluxe and Fireball. So you never know.

I think Eight Ball Deluxe is coming, but no earlier than the end of this season. It was in the top 10 and it has been heavily requested but with Cue Ball Wizard and Big Shot, that would be a lot of pool. Spreading it out is not a bad move.

Farsight....quit giving us the same table and give us Addams Family. Just give it to us. You can do it, just do it. That's what we want, no more of these obscure machines from Bally and Williams that are fun but feel like Dr. Dude, Junk Yard, Whirlwind, White Water, etc etc, just give us Addams Family lol. Right?

I'd like it to be Bad Cats, with a small percentage going to the Pyton Anghelo to help with his cancer treatment.

Even though I'm certain we will never see it in TPA :(

I'm still holding out hope that BadCats sees release in TPA! I want to annoy my family with constant "meow, meow-meow, meowwwww"s... ;)

The only table I would like to play on TPA is Space Jam (and yes, I did like that movie - better than LT: Back in Action in my opinion). But I dont think that will ever happen since Space Jam (pinball) was manufactured by Sega and not any of the four popular pinball manufacturers - Williams, Bally, Stern, or Gottlieb.

Not to mention that would mean Farsight having to pay more copyright fees due to Space Jam being a premium pinball machine (after all, it is based on the 1996 movie starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny).

Space Jam could possibly be released. Popular license (they've shown the movie on the Hub and Cartoon Network at certain times). Also Harley-Davidson was a SEGA table but released under Stern's label, if they ever released Space Jam it would be identified as a Stern. And it would most likely require a Kickstarter...

They should release Addams Family but replace all the likenesses and call outs with Farsight employees to bypass the licensing costs.

Then, if you want, you can pay extra to unlock each of the actors likenesses - like Zen and the Super League Football table where to unlock a single team you pay $3 a pop. So $3 to unlock Christopher Lloyd, $5 for Angelica Houston, $1 for Jimmy Workman, $99.99 for Raul Julia. Everyone's happy! ;)

We replaced all the audio files in age of empires back in college. It was actually pretty hilarious. We mostly just used dumb voices but kept most of the words the same. That and lots of belching.

I'm pretty sure all their releases have been different tables.

That would breach the license agreement with the manufacturers as they have to release the tables in their original form. Apparently they have some leeway with rom settings.

We used to do this with warcraft 2 as well.

Yeah they've been different tables, but they don't feel all that different, especially if they are going to give us Junk Yard, Earthshaker, or Diner next. I feel like we've seen those kinds of tables before. It'd be nice to see something fresh and what we REALLY want instead of tables we want, but aren't really our top priorities.

You're totally right. Instead of all these tables from the community polls, Farsight should just be asking individual forum members what they want the most, then not releasing anything until they can get the license for that table, and repeat the process after that happens. I mean there's soo many happy customers right now, that a policy of 1 table at a time, when ever it is convenient, will be an utter smash.

Just make TAF, Indiana Jones, LOTR, Star Wars, and the new Star Trek table.

The profits would be in the hundreds!

Communication is overrated. They should be using telepathy to provide the tables that the collective want. Also, personal desires and likes are irrelevant. Resistance is futile.
