I just played No fear the other day and I find it a bit strange that it does not come up more often now that we are starting to scrape the barrel on the dmd williams/Bally collection. Lots of ramps, lots of flow and I found it a very fun table. Maybe it is a bit shallow in the rules department? Only played it a couple of times but I had a splendid time.

The license must be super soft. Can't imagine any trouble there. Anyway, a mid nineties Steve R. table with a lot of flow, what's not to like :)

Any takers on the subject?

It's getting harder and harder to think of tables that we haven't got these days, I keep looking through my tables collection, seeing something like High Roller Casino and going "hang on a second, I forgot you existed"

I wouldn't mind playing that. It sounds like an interesting concept.

No, trust me. You wouldn't. Everybody says the same thing when they try it. I mean everyone. "I stopped playing halfway through the first ball."

I'd go a 100% with that! Very nice pin!

just looked up that orbiter....WTF is that??? Is the playfield just wobbly or are there a lot of magnets under the playfield???

edit: must be pretty hard for Farsight to make all those movements? Looks nice for 5 minute play but then would get very boring I guess...

The playbills is wobbly. It's a strange, gimmicky table. Fun for 5 min. Would be a waste of a table IMO

I must have missed it. In this newsletter?

Yes, when they're talking about Lawlor. They mention funhouse, twilight zone and banzai run as tables he's created. It struck me as odd they wouldn't mention Earthshaker if it was actually on the docket for the season.

Karl, have you played Banzai run? I like it better than No Fear.

Just played Banzai Run yesterday in a tournament, hadn't played it in at least 20+ years I guess, pretty difficult those shots up in the backbox...but still fun, wouldn't mind seeing that one in TPA

33 table

You knew it was coming. ;)

It seems likely that The Party Zone is the next table. So what's next?

I'm guessing The Getaway.

I think it'll be ES or TPZ...simply due to TAF was an expensive, extremely wanted one. These are a good deal less so.

You're right. I thought that Goin' Nuts sounded like a great idea too, and halfway thru my first game on TPA, I've hated it with a passion.

Yes, there is one at my clubhouse. It is a very addicting pin. Great music, great use of the backbox. A pin I would love to have in TPA. They are both fun but I agree that Banzai Run is a classic and one I would want even more than No fear.

Regarding racing pins: I have never played Indianapolis 500 or Nascar. Both look ok but High speed 2 is probably a better choice. I want them all :D
