I was really hoping for Monoply back when there was more talk about it. Mainly because there's one close by me, and it seems perfect for TPA. Same old story about licensing though. Pretty much impossible.
As far as Lawlor's new table for JJ, I've heard that his first pitch to Jack was so good that Jack was like, 'that's it!'. And he didn't even have to pitch his other 2 ideas. I give JJ props for being so secretive. No one's heard a thing. I'm not sure when they'll announce the name. Sounds like it's gonna be epic though. I've hears disaster theme. But there's no way of really knowing that

"INDEPENDENCE DAY," YAHHH?? i'd guess that one! unless it's a non-prop theme... but that would be very much like "attack from mars" kinda pretty much, if it weren't already so much like "mars attacks!" (the movie).last i'd read in the "ain't it cool" threads was there was -finally- a sequel script that got a greenlight... so there supposedly -is- a sequel on the way for "ID4-2"! maybe something ahead of time/pre-approved for a theme...

Well wouldnt that be some apples? The pinball world can never get enough aliens. Just like rodents. The question is, what could TPA use more of? I'm thinkin music themes, which Dedpop has so gracefully started a poll for. Board games also, of coarse. Which is why I think we'll see safecracker very soon. Sports themes, (not talking about golf here). World Cup Soccer is a no-go unfortunately. NBA Fastbreak would be great if they really tried. Speaking of WCS, just yesterday I went to a Brann's that used to have one, and I just assumed it was still there. Went in, bought a beer, and once I headed back to the 'arcade' section, it was gone. Not even another pin to replace it. So I just drank the beer by some slot machine game like a jackass. Must've looked like I was down on my life because one of the owners came and put his hand on me with a concerned look on his face. Probably should've looked back there before I bought the beer. I'm guessing only homeless people go back there now, which is why I was mistaken for one. After I finished the beer I was like eff this, I'm gonna play some real pinball tonight. Decided to go to the pub that's actually closer to my place that has TSPP. Well, once I got there and slipped on the back door, it was gone too! Is there some pinball machine gnome that's going around snatching up the tables by me?

yikes! what the helck... pinball gnomes, like underpants gnomes! the worst kind, too... sad to say maybe but i'd give up my underpants in place of any stolen pinball machines! (my underpants need replacing anyways!)
i dunno if my "ID4-2" guess was anywhere nears a mark; i'm just a good guesser from out here in the middle of nowhere! ;0 i keep up on a lot of things... different place/time, i mighta been some a-hole hollywood producer type! "marky-mark pinball?? great; go with it!" ;0 seems in retrospect now that the industry is just so ripe for reproducing, so many weird and crazy properties could get a table/tie-in...
so many that should've along the way, never even got a chance! that a verhoven flick is finally gettin' the official virtual treatment, just leads to so many other crazy "what-ifs"... what if this or that movie had a table...ahk i got one more big thought before bed tonight; i'll hafta put it under the blahcade podcast though since that's where i first thought of it from... k can't wait to play some starship troopers this weekend!

Kinda makes you wonder where all of those machines ended up. Cause I'll find that gnome's cave if it's the last thing I do. But only if there's a team assembled to come along with me. I need a dwarf, elf, wizard, human, a couple of small people. We'll figure this out.

Very nice vid. I sent it to my sister. She probably won't care. But back on subject, what are the odds that TSPP will be the next kickstarter? It's been talked about since the beginning of time. Season 4 is all planned out I'm sure, for the most part. It's worth talking about when the next kickstarter will be though.

I agree that if they did a KS for it, there's I big possibility that it will fail. But I'm still hoping on hope that it'll be the next one. If FS actually campaigns this next KS better, I could see it happening. Among other things. Like, say how the project is going, etc. maybe I'm wrong, maybe a KS would be better for a different table if TSPP is too much of a license. I'd like to believe it's doable though

The pinball gnome struck in Kutztown as well. They took my only pinball machine in town, Rocky and Bullwinkle. Worst of all they replaced it with a claw machine. Oh the humanity!

What in the hangs was Wizard Blocks? Today is the first time I heard of it. I must investigate. When was it supposed to be made? Was it one of his first tables?

Wizard Blocks was one of the unreleased Pinball 2000 machines. Apparently it was supposed to combine elements from puzzle games like Tetris with pinball. Only one prototype was released.
