huh? im sorry you lost me --and i thought i was a big Who fan. i googled "doctor who resurgence" and the only result that came close was "doctor who: the dalek resurgence" --a fan film that looks unintentionally comical-- loaded with bad production. Is that what you meant or is there something else?

I'm thinking only the KS backers will initially get this one, much like TAF Gold. But FarSight will have occasional giveaways. If they do another kick-starter, that could be your next chance to get this and TAF gold if you don't already have access to them.

I'd be shocked if it were the 19th. Well, as shocked as I could get about a release date . That'd be a 3-week span since FTBH, which was a 4-week span since I500, and the total of 7 weeks for 2 tables would be a record. It might even mean something .

Hmm. I'm hopeful that there's a reason for the quick releases but it's fine if it's just randomness, too. I sure did expect that as SPA got closer, TPA releases would get slower, not faster. Oh well, banzai!

Someone from Farsight here mentioned back when season 2 was in its infancy that they were trying to get Tales From the Crypt. I feel that if it didn't happen yet, there is probably an I use with the license (too expensive?)

On the "Indy 500" Twitchstream, they were trying to get people excited about the Halloween table by asking what what does everyone think the Halloween table will be. They then mention that Tales From the Crypt and Freddy: Nightmare on Elm Street are the highest requested Halloween tables. Personally, I haven't heard any recent requests anywhere for Freddy (there were some a long time ago), so I have a gut feeling that will be this year's Halloween table.

From the FWIW department, the appearance of EBD in the Steam achievements doesn't mean its release will be this Friday (Aug 19), or even next (Aug 26). I don't have a great deal of data, but it looks like the ach's show up 2.5 weeks before the table is released as often as 1.5 or 0.5 weeks. It does look like EBD will release by Sept 2 at least but we could be pretty sure of that anyway .

It's been confirmed on their FB page, that the twitch stream is tomorrow and the table will release out this Friday.

Freddy isn't that great, IMO, but FS apparently loves mediocre Gottlieb Premieres. I'm getting pretty sick of them after R911, TX and Big Hurt. Bleh.

Would like to see Tales From The Crypt if for no other reason than to add another DE table to the line-up.

I haven't played either Freddy and Tales From the Crypt. I am more of a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street theme than Tales From the Crypt, but I don't really have a preference. However, I think that Freddy might be the easier license to acquire.

Tales From the Crypt is owned by 20th Century Fox (I think), which Farsight has said was expensive (and I would guess the reason thy did not do a Simpsons Kickstarter yet). Nightmare on Elm Street is owned by Warner Bros, which may or may not be easier to license.
