the game looks to be a 2-player only table. They'd have to seriously crack some knuckles on online, head-to-head play to get that working.
A.G. Soccer has a single player mode, where the flippers on the other end detect the ball and auto-flip at it.
But that said, yeah, an implementation of A.G. Soccer without real 2-player online play would be pretty hollow.
A possible compromise: local multiplayer using two different controllers, which would be simpler than online multiplay. Although knowing Farsight's history of controller difficulties, they might not get that right either.
