Hopefully it's either Fire! or Fireball II over Firepower II - which is not much different from the original. But that last quote bubble seems to indicate Firepower II.

If it is Firepower II, per the newsletter, then Firepower emulation is a must.

Going by that, it's either Firepower 2 or Fire!.

Maybe the "12" is a reference to how many more months it'll take to update SPA.

Firepower II? There are really times I think Farsight is just trolling...lol. Fire would have been a great addition. I'll still enjoy it though.
