I just recently bought TPA and seasons 1-3. I haven't bought season 4 yet and am wondering, since TAF there have been no more tables released for Xbone but 3(Cyclone, Jackbot and Xenon) have been released. Just curious, how far behind is Xbone on table releases usually?

The consoles don't keep up the same table/month rate. It takes longer to approve the DLC through Sony and Microsoft. Instead we get 2-4 tables per release.

Since I went from the 10 tables available for 360 to 3 1/2 seasons available on Xbox One, I'm not complaining.

The only unfortunate thing is that my brother and I didn't get to compete on each new table as it was released. This is like trying to drink from a fire hose.

Has anyone heard anything about when we might see the newest tables? I can't play another game of El Dorado City of Gold while I wait...

My guess is when the last table in Season 4 gets released, you'll see the next update for the next gen consoles

Well, there's always Goin' Nuts!

But seriously, this just makes me glad I don't support consoles anymore. I don't like waiting for months, even years (like the 360, PS4 season 2), that I could be playing currently.

You would think that the consoles would get with the freakin' times and allow DLC releases without months of hold-up for alleged bug-checking, and oh, by the way, these versions release with even more bugs than any other version. Bugs which take longer to fix, assuming they even get looked at by FS personnel.

Well... I've never had to upgrade my console six months later and my console has never had a virus so there's that... :)

But how many times have XBox Live and the PSN been hacked in the past year? I've lost count.....

I don't want to get into a console/pc war on this. There are less hacks of XBL than virus' on PC/Mac I can guarantee you that, and I'm a CIO. I lost interest in PC gaming right around the time of Descent ][. I was tired of having to upgrade cpu, ram, video card, and drive space every six months. Plus it seemed like every game was becoming a sequel and the only thing they did was add more buttons for me to try and reach. Plus it's way easier to teach my 78 year old Dad how to play a game on his Xb1 than trying to teach him which 80 buttons he has to press to move his character forward on his Mac while I live 1,200 miles away. Both PCs and Consoles have their +s and -s, I just prefer coming home after a stressful day at work, lying down on my couch and having 8 buttons to worry about instead of whether I need to put in another $800 worth of hardware because everyone else I play against just upgraded their machines and are running laps around me. Of course I grew up with an original Apple computer and one button controllers along with an Atari 2600 and one button controllers so maybe it is just me.

I agree.

Remember the PC Jr.? Still one of my favorite joysticks I've ever used.

Are you sure you don't want to get into a PC/console war? Beacause you just pretty much wrote a declaration of war ;)

1. Stop surfing porn sites to avoid viruses!
2. You can connect xbox/playstation controller to PC. And many other controllers to choose from as well. You can also connect you PC to your TV if you prefer.
3. PC gaming is much easier today (steam etc) than when you stopped gaming PC.
4. Get a proper PC to begin with and you're all set. Then again you can almost always adjust game settings to suit your PC performance.

Hoping we get a sale when S4 shows up. I bought some stuff on the 360, but since we can't transfer purchases for whatever reason I'm kind of torn on what console I'm going to stick with. If the patch comes out and the outstanding issues detailed elsewhere in this section are actually fixed I may re-buy what I have and get the remainder on the One, but that's gonna be a hard sell of S1/2/3 aren't discounted a little bit.

...so you can't count beyond 1 or 2? The stuff around Christmas is all that has happened recently, and PCs are just as vulnerable to that kind of "attack" as anything.

I'll listen to and agree with you all day on the PC being more powerful, but claiming it's more secure than the closed infrastructure of XBL is laughable. And it has nothing to do with "surfing porn sites."

I went through the 360 waiting ordeal and bought the One. All my Pinball FX tables ported over which swayed my decision over PS4. Unfortunately the current PBA release situation is reminiscent of the 360 crap.
