Stern Pinball just posted this image on their Facebook:

Simply trolling, or are they working on a Godzilla/Kaiju themed pinball table? That would be a pretty damn awesome theme, but I can't imagine it being as lucrative as the other licenses they've been doing recently.
But apparently there's a new American Godzilla movie on its way next year (this time based around the real Godzilla!), so it would be an obvious tie-in.

A Godzilla table, especially based on the "real" version & not that 1998 abomination would be most welcome...

If its a kaiju themed table it might be Pacific Rim. They are already doing the sequel to that, so it's a big enough property for Stern to tackle.

The next Stern was rumored to be a new Star Trek reboot table designed by Steve Ritchie. From what it sounds like, it has a whole lot of references to the STTNG table.

Risk aversion happened. Remakes and sequels of known commodities are considered safer investments.

I never said it was a good adaptation.

It's not really an adaption though. It's based on that -other- movie called "Godzilla" which really has nothing to do with Godzilla. :)

An actual Godzilla table would be kick-ass. According to rumors, there are going to be at least two other kaiju monsters in the new American Godzilla movie (which is also the first Godzilla movie at all since Toho closed the series for its 50th anniversary), so the tradition of Godzilla fighting other big monsters is kept true.

Also, this would be a great excuse for the return of the shaker motor!

Stern is known to throw random pictures on their FB just to get people talking. If it has a meaning, Pacific Rim doesn't seem like a bad guess.

I don't remember ever seeing Stern posting something not related to one of their pins?

Though if its the new ST series, I can already see Lens Flare Multiball.

...as for the Destroy All Monster image, I much rather have a new Godzilla either by the new movie coming out or old school Gojira. :D

If they do a table based on the new Star Trek, and include a "Lens flare multiball", Stern will have my eternal love!

Also, an actual "Destroy All Monsters" table would be incredible.
