How dare FarSight lower their prices. How dare they.

It was a good news when I read it for the first time, but now...

I purchased 3 DLC packs on the April, 19th, 2013 (one month ago): MM/BoP, CV/FH, MB/Gorgar. 6 tables at 2,50 euros each (15 euros)

One month later, there is a Season Pack (18 tables) at an amazing price: 29,99 euros! 1,66 euros each table.

Without the Season Pack, the remaining 12 tables would cost me 35 euros (10x2,50 + 2x5)

With the Season Pack, I will save 5 euros only (one kickstarter table for free).

If I had not purchased 3 DLC packs one month ago, I would have saved 20 euros! (8 tables for free!!)

:(:(:(

Note: but it doesn't matter, as I won't buy anything until the PS3 lag problem will be fixed. And it seems I have to wait a long time before it happens!:p

All joking aside, I am disappointed that the Season 2 pack includes 3 table packs I already bought, but come Steam, I am all over both of 'em.

Am I doing the math wrong here, or would it actually cost $5 more to buy the season pass than to buy the table packs individually if we have already purchased 11, 12, and 13? Not complaining, just trying to make an informed decision.

It will cost more for those of us that already have 11, 12 and 13, but these season packs are to intice those who may have been waiting for a discount, or were merely late to the party, to purchase The Pinball Arcade.

I think you still save a little, my calcs were all based on pro mode purchase as follows....

Normal pro pack purchase cost = $8

Season 2 pro pack = $49
Season = packs 11 through 20 (most of us have pack 11,12 & 13) so 7 new packs available.

= 7 x $8 = $56 to purchase individually

= $56 - $49 = $7 saving

That said it's not for me. I want to vet before I buy in regards quality issues.
But if I was buying a new platform it's a good saving.

I just have to say have stoked I am hearing about getting the new nudge functions on IOS. I have asked for this a long, long time and now maybe only a day to finally get it :p

Thanks for doing the math on the season bundles Baron. Did not think I would still save a little by buying season 2. If there is still 7$ to save I could just as well go for it.

Should have said above calcs were based on Android prices.
Not sure but I'd guess Ios is same pricing structure.

Can't wait for nudge up also Karl, this is my most wanted feature enhancement.
I'm hoping Android gets diagonal nudge also same as ios - then CV watch out!

I'm really looking forward for the new nudge system. It can't get worse (for me att least: the way I hold my Pad makes nudging all but impossible, and we all know that shake doesen't work).

Judging from Pin Wiz post, it looks like the new system is going to be perfect, with up tilt and fully customizable nudging zones for every angle. Can't ask for more than that :D

+ the option to move special buttons to anywhere we like is a pretty nice bonus ;)

The nudging zones aren't fully customizable, but there are enough schemes (five of them) that everyone should be happy. And there are 21 (!) different vertical positions for the special buttons.

Yes, the iOS pricing is the same. I came to the same conclusion yesterday...
If you have already purchased all existing table packs and aren't interested in the pro versions then it's cheaper to just purchase the packs one at a time as they are released. If you want to purchase all the Pro tables and assuming that all table packs through pack 20 will have a pro table included then it's cheaper to purchase the Season 2 Pro pack. The question is, will table packs 15-20 all include a Pro table? I think it's pretty safe to assume so since packs 7-14 all included Pro tables.

That sounds awesome...I'm one of those that hold the iPad so my thumbs are pretty close to the bottom of the screen with the outside part of my hands resting on my legs (along with the bottom of the iPad resting there as well). The new nudging scheme will be very welcome to those of us that "can't hold their iPads correctly while playing the game". ;)

Is the exact same nudge system going into Android do you know?.
Current beta has nudge enhancements omitted at the minute, and I only heard Ryan mention 'Nudge Forwards' in his beta post.

That's not gonna be ready at least until table pack 20 is out, since it's going to contain packs 11-20.

Actually season passes can be purchased, and any future DLC will be available for you once released. Look into other season passes from other games like Borderlands 2.

I do hope these season passes will be available at the launch of the Steam version. :)

Yes, I assumed it would be like most other PSN season passes where you pre-buy and save over buying individually.

Hm. Well, the Season One is 907 MB which I guess means it actually contains the tables. So I guess they'd have to do Season Two a different way to do it like you're saying.

I don't see why they would include the button in the menu now if it wasn't going to be available until next year.
