If we take the existing figures and work the averages from there we get:

Season 1: 7.26
Season 2: 6.01
Season 3: 6.91
Season 4: 6.69
Season 5: 8.20 (awaiting votes for F-14 to even this out as only HS2 atm)

So in order:

Really does show how strong season 1 is, and also how disappointing overall season 2 was (although YMMV), with season 3 looking the best option after S1 until more S5 tables come out to compare.

S2 suffers from its Gottlieb long tail (necessitated by FS having to renegotiate the Williams/Bally license), having Goin' Nuts, El Dorado, and Central Park - the bottom three tables! - in there.

Agreed, I'm personally extremely disappointed with the S2 tables (only got them this week on PS4), and in truth there's really only 5 out of the 19 I'll ever really play with any sort of regularity, and at least another 5-10 that I doubt I'll ever play again (and that includes all of the 3 you list Eldar).

Price wise it was still cheaper to buy the whole season rather than those 4-5 main tables individually so I can't really complain about value for money, but in terms of overall pack quality I think it's very lacking.

In regards to S4>S3, if what you suggest is correct, then what would you attribute the higher scores for S3 tables over S4 to? Having not played any of them, I certainly can't comment, but if that is the case I wonder why it's not being represented in the votes???

Last month's new table, F-14 Tomcat, landed in 24th place. In the top 10, The Getaway: High Speed II (the new table two months ago) fell from 7th place, all the way out of the top 10 into 11th.

Some of those older tables might move up if they were updated. I know I've been playing more Medieval Madness and Monster Bash on iOS because they seem to be the only pre-Xenon tables with the 3.0 flipper physics. I'm pretty cool with the top 20 standings but 21-40 needs a shuffle with some of the lower tables. I particularly don't see how Creature is 22. Great table IRL but pretty underwhelming in TPA. IMO Haunted House should be higher up than some of its comtemporaries. But that's me!

Yeah, I'm on PS4 and I would *reeeeeeeeeally* like to see the pre-Xenon tables get the physics update, I can't even make myself go back and play them as it is now, the new ones are so much softer and nicer ^_^

well, yes.......... BUT...... AFM has that BIG problem with right ramp. MM also has issue with right ramp (at least for me on android) that sometimes and quite often actually ball returns down the ramp instead of that habitrail. And yet, they are ranked as #1 and #2.

This is a joke of course. Nobody would seriously suggest that people having different taste to you means they suck at the subject in question and have no right expressing their opinion. It is a joke, right?

But it's not just taste; my overriding memory of Black Knight in TPA is going for a score based wizard goal and having to start over again and again and again, thanks to a game ending bug wrecking my game every single time. That's why it's my lowest ranking table (yes, below Goin' Nuts). It's the one table I can almost guarantee will screw up, so why bother playing?

If Farsight fixes the bugs <pause for laughter> then the table will rank a lot better.
