To intense? The only thing intense is the noise of it. Otherwise it couldn´t be simpler. I tried to play it listening to music instead and then it was actually enjoyable. So the sound ruins it more then I actually expected.

Heh. I'm with you on Cirqus Voltaire (plus the announcer lady is annoying, the table is set up really floaty, the ball lock detection is buggy (I'm told the real table has this problem too), the outlanes are set really cruelly low and wide, the backglass cannon thing is pointless, pretty nearly all you do is shoot the silly Ringmaster over and over, and the name is hard to spell : p).

Agreed on the outlanes... with all the clutter on the left side of the playfield (the orange ball contraption) it's hard to see whether the ball will go out anyway. And it's really difficult to avoid hitting the Ringmaster to start up that feature
When playing it, I try to go for the orbits to get the sideshow or the acrobats... and of course the highwire.

My love for Creature from the Black Lagoon has grown over the past month due to focusing on it a bit for the tournament. I really love playing the table more than I did. I'm hitting the snackbar with pretty good efficiency now, completed all the wizard goals today (still had to do super scoring and actually getting the super jackpot, got an almost 8 billion score).
I'd probably change my rating from a 7 to a 9 right now.
I'll hold off on redoing my scores until Fish Tales is released on PS3.
